5K late this afternoon. I opted to run in the neighborhood which is deceptively not flat, rather than my own, (which other than the very long steep hill going down to the flat lakeside (which also means back up from)), because it has more shady spots in the afternoon.
I am on a mini-roll. I ran 5.95 on Monday and then 5.62 on Tuesday. With my run on Sunday I am over 20 miles over the
last three days. I have felt a little stiff, but overall have felt pretty good. Yesterday's 5.62 was at an 11:44 per mile pace.
The roll continues. 5.49 miles at a 12:12 pace last night. A bit over 26 miles in the last four days and still feeling pretty good.
I wish it was always like this. I honestly have weeks were running four days in the week is much more of an effort.
4 miles this morning as a participant in the One Million Run here - goal is to collectively run 1 million kms within Switzerland in 48 hours. Corporate sponsors will donate to sports associations based on how much of the goal is reached. Walks count too. So in addition to planning another run tomorrow, I’m bribing my teen with the good gelato tomorrow - it’s about a 3 mile r/t walk.
