Bike today.

Yeah, way back in the day before it just kinda dried up and disappeared.

Yeah it was sad what happened, some bickering and then the accident, sad stuff, still think of Robert and his wife everytime we go down there.

Others tried to get some momentum behind runningoftheeras and it went well for a while but it is slowly dying right now as well. I mean people post there like every so often, but not daily.

this is the most active rudisney community I have found and it's like 5 of us. Is there another?

There are several groups on Facebook I think beyond just the official page which is pretty heavily trafficked. The board that shall not be named had a pretty active sub forum as well, but they are more into the health/weight loss aspect than the running part if I remember correctly. This board seems to be best mix of Disney fans who are runners. Most tend to be made up of hard core runners who just happen to go to Disney for a race every now and then, or hard core Disney fans who happen to do a race so they can get bling.

Thanks dreamfinder, I just can't believe no one has picked up that disneyrunning.com address and "run" with it.

Every little bit counts!

As for me 3.5 miles on the TM last night. Having some tweaking in my knee. Hoping it just my shoes which have almost 500 miles on them. My new ones are supposed to arrive in the mail today and I can't wait.

Please, new shoes at 300. :)

On another note and I put it here because you guys tend to be the most active posters, but did any of you used to be active on disneyrunning.com?

Not familiar with it.

Back on the road after too many people told me to take two weeks off. :) 3 miles with a bit of hill work. I start a points series next weekend with a hilly 9-miler.

Knee is back to 100% and stamina really good. Only gained 3 pounds in my time off. Strangely, everything felt mechanically wrong for the first half mile, like my body forgot how to run. But after that it was back to normal.

Went out of town for a mommy-daughter weekend with DD, and we had a blast snow-tubing. I let her sleep in Sunday morning and I sneaked down to the fitness room to squeeze in 3 miles on the TM in my new running shoes. They felt pretty good so far. Afterwards I didn't feel quite so guilty going to the Original Pancake House for breakfast with her :) Afterwards each we had an hour and a half massage - it was longest, most luxurious massage I've ever had and I highly recommend it (although I won't be splurging too often myself given the price!).

Never heard of it. And yeah, there used to be more of us, but somehow we've dwindled over the years, losing people to Facebook and who knows where else. I feel comfortable here. No pressure, lots of support, and a nice mix of a Disney-fix tossed in.

Please, new shoes at 300. :)

I usually make it to 500 ok and then the problems begin. I was kinda dragging my feet about getting new ones because I was so unhappy that it was my last pair of the no-longer-made model I love.

On another note, we're starting to vaguely talk about the possibility of a February 2017 WDW trip! Our last two trips have been to DLR and DLP so it's been quite a few years since we've been to WDW (December 2012, I think).

First full week back, 3-3-3. Points 9-miler this Saturday. Weird week. 55F and nice Tuesday, 75 and humid Wednesday, 48F and low humidity today. Cold weather is coming back to the south.

My brother-in-law has a 10K coming up to get a W&D qualifier for his first half. We're going to run it together. Tried to talk my sister into it but she said she would just wait at the finish line with a glass of wine or two.

Ack! Treadmill!;)

15K race this morning. BEAUTIFUL morning for a run, 30F at start and sunny. Warmed up really fast with the sun. Happy with my time but it was very hilly and I was 7 seconds off my DLR Star Wars Half pace. So right now Star Wars is still my 2016 qualifier. Bunch of 10Ks coming up though.
