What did you do?

Visiting family in Harlingen. Got some waves of rain coming through but nothing extreme. Saturday is supposed to be bad and I have a 6-miler scheduled. Might not happen. But Sunday looks good right now. Austin up to Dallas looks really bad. Flights are being cancelled.

Apparently they only had some rain by my sister in Austin but nothing bad at all. Guess she got lucky. Glad you were able to get your run in.

As for me, 6 miles as well on Saturday morning + another .5m with the dog. Surprised myself by my solo pace of 10:07 m/m.

Back in Georgia. Missed our connection in Houston and didn't get home until 11 last night. Slept in and did 4 miles. Nice to be back to cool temps and low humidity.

My current job is coming to an end tomorrow. So I get to sleep in and run in the daylight until I find something new. :)

Nice! Figure something out? :)
Yep, something against panicattacks and anxiety. If feeling a bit wobbly walk longer between interval if needed. Don't freak out. Look around. Have some water anyway (I need more due to medical reasons) and I should be fine. I've doing 3,2 Miles at least every run the past 5 times so I feel ok about it. Also found a New nice track past the river which is very nice.

Panic and anxiety stopped me from driving as well for a year. As of yesterday I got back now to driving again. So liberating :)
I might drive to my fave forest soon and just run with a happy grin on my face :D

5k. With some struggles but I know I'm getting nervous. I'm flying out tomorrow

Last minute advice: It can be stressful so get there early and get settled. Enjoy the music and the silly MCs. Don't be afraid to ask for help. There are great volunteers everywhere. Good luck and have fun!
