Eh, twas a meh weekend. Sat was normal 5kish @ 6:58. Sun was 4@2i@8:27p followed by 14mi on the bike. Should have been 11mi, but got body kinda gave up. Best guess is I seriously undernourished Saturday (darn Halloween).

Congrats to anyone who ran in NYC on Sunday!

Set out to do 7 miles on Saturday morning, and as I was finishing I thought to myself, "I probably should've planned to do 8 miles today since I'm still feeling strong." And then I thought, "well why the heck don't I just tag on another mile?" So on the 10 year anniversary weekend of my completing the NYC Marathon, I ran 8 miles which was my longest run since before my RA problems began. Didn't seem to have any ramifications afterwards so I'm feeling pretty pleased with myself.

9 miles today in the metroparks and there was another runner dressed as Where's Waldo. You don't expect to see that outside of a race, but it is Halloween.

DD dressed as Where's Waldo for Halloween this year :)

Ran my First 10k ever, in Lexington, MA on Sunday. Thrilled with my results 57:46 as my goal was under an hour.

My first year of running ended with 3 5Ks and 1 10K. Committed to a half marathon in 2016. Hoping it will be in wdw. (Food and wine if I can convince the wife.)

I did it, I finished without too much hassle. It was actually one of my most relaxed runs so far. I took one longer walking break around halfway through and it went fine inspite of the weather being quite hot and humid.

So I did a 3.1 mile run, first event ever and the One I was preparing for for quit some time. Won't stop running but I felt like I wanted to cry instead of smile when I crossed the finishline. Good tears though!

@Texas84 I did go in early, I took the host transportation bus at 5am (woke up at 3, couldn't sleep anymore lol) and that was good. The waiting itself felt both long and short at the same time.
I hate being late and stressing out, I'd rather wait a bit longer at the actual place I need to be.

Now heading out to MK for the first time since I arrived last week. Shame on me lol

Sat was 5k@6:58p at some random incline, different treadmill that did some random 5k program. Was traveling Sunday, so nothing of note. Today was 2.33m@2i@6:58p.

So what was the final shortened distance?
They said 7.1 but some are reporting 6.7. I am still here so haven't checked my Garmin yet.
