Congratulations @TeddyinMO that is awesome!

@JillC LI my friend has a beagle that he takes on 6-10 mile mountain bike rides...I am sure your littl dog can be a good running buddy!

I have been in the throes of my final semester of school and had not run since doing the Dumbo in August. Today I peeled myself off the chair and ran 3.2. I left my Garmin home because I just wanted it to be no stress. I was pleasantly surprised to see that I was no slower than normal and averaged about 10:30/ mile...And day one of Star Wars training is done!

today was a run after work day , 1 . bc it was so nice. , 81 degrees and a occasional breeze. , and 2. bc it was a nice stress relive from work , plus have a 5k coming up next weekend. so I started out with my watch got half way started with my run .... and I was like the heck with and turn it off and just ran to to be running.. ( besides I had a little soreness I had to work out.) so No watch for me today and it felt good! , besides the rain clouds rolling it so I decided to call it a night!, plus some weights and some pushups to boot!

5.24 miles @ 8:48/mi. I wanted to take this run easy but there was a sign on the locker room door notifying us that the water would be turned off today and tomorrow for repairs so I decided to pick up the pace a bit to make sure I could shower before it was shut off. (I made it)

Bike cross train today.

That's one of my fears. I dread the day I show up at the gym and they are out of hot water. It's happened before, but they had another location on the way to work I could stop at instead, but that one closed. Would mean skipping the workout and going to work looking like a hobo.

Five miles tonight, and had a new experience while doing it. Someone threw an egg at me from a car. It missed and landed in the grass beside me. I picked it up and carried it with me for the rest of my run. If they decided to make another pass at me I was ready to open fire.

Messed up @Mad Stitch , messed up. As for me a quick 1.70 or so miles in under 17 minutes, just a quick out and back with a loop around Beale Street. Getting ready for my seventh half marathon Sunday morning in Cleveland along Lake Erie in front of my family. Only thing is that it's been in the 80s and 70s this week in Memphis and in the 50s and 60s in Cleveland. Expected run time temp will be 44. Nice weather yes, but by Memphis standards it's a wintertime temp. I'll be ready. I'm from Cleveland. I will be pumped running around my old neighborhood and along Lake Erie.

@TeddyinMO Awesome job! Congratulations!!

@Mad Stitch - All I can say is WTH is wrong with people?

Still been running. I know I have missed a few runs here and there. I am putting in lots of extra hours at work. :hungover:
Shades of Death Half Marathon is this weekend! I am hoping I will do pretty well but since I have missed some days, I am not so sure.

Another 5k at an easy 6:58 pace.

Thats a bit bizarre. Definitely would have returned fire.

I Liked your post for your response, not for what they did. Sickos. Not even Halloween yet.

As for me, I had a really good speed workout this morning although I still feel drained from it. 3/4 mile reps at 8:40 min pace on the TM. Amazed I finished it. The pace was so much faster than I usually run that I finished the workout before I finished watching my recording of yesterday's episode of General Hospital!

Really jealous of some of the pacing on here. :)

Did my Higdon 9-miler early so I can get packed for Disneyworld! Doing a solo Drunkytown weekend and staying at Coronado for the first time. Got a great AP deal.

Did a slow 10:45 but that's right where I want to be for Dopey. Last two miles were fastest and that's encouraging. I've been finishing the long runs strong. The weekday runs bump up to 4-7-4 next week. :D

@JillC LI - Yep all 20 miles in the rain.

Yesterday - 20.51 miles @9:28/mile in the pouring rain. This run felt really good even though I made my route tougher (more hills) than my typical long runs. I gave myself a taste of the NYC marathon course by running the last 3.5 miles which is new to me so definitely an interesting change for my last long run. I am pleased with the pace as well because I never stopped my watch to get across streets or to fill up my hydration flasks. Now for the taper the race is 3 weeks from today!!

Mile 10 killed me. I walked about .25 of a mile on mile 3 with my mom/C when I lapped them

Ran 3.20 miles on Oct. 10 in about 37 minutes at my parent's home of Mentor, Ohio. Low 50s, breezy, bite in the air.

Sunday morning ran 13.1 miles in PR time of 2:17.57 at the 2014 Northern Ohio Half Marathon along several Lake Erie communities in Lake County, Ohio. Surprised myself setting a PR after I told my parents I would be happy with 2:30 or 2:45 (PR by a minute!). Somewhat hilly course. Run time temp 38F with frost. Brrr. Finish about upper 40s. Only 700 marathoners and half marathoners. Within 2 miles I had my own spacious pocket.

Seven half marathons in five states since January 2013.

Missed the run Sat, Sun was 12@7:30 2 1 incline, w 1/2 w/u & c/d. Knee started to hurt, and I stopped at 10, did my cool down, stretched out the knee, and said , did 2 more miles and then another cool down.
