The kids too!

Only had to pay for one this year ...too short a cut for the other.

Hmmm...here goes...no order:

1) Eating at Flying Fish. Love the Banana Napolean.
2) Drinking at ESPN Club after a long day in the parks. Matt, a bar back, always friendly and has remembered us every year. That can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on how you look at it.
3) Adventurer's Club. Always a good time.
4) Sitting on the Boardwalk late at night or early in the morning and soaking in the view and stillness.
5) Having the TV tuned in to Resort TV. I never watch it; I just like the fact that you can escape from reality even a little more.
6) The A/C when it hits you as you walk in from a hot, humid day in the parks.
7) Sitting in the Boardwalk Lobby/Resort Lobby the first day we arrive--a great, great feeling.
8) Heading to your first theme park. "First park, first day!" is a traditional phrase heard on every vacation.
9) Relaxing in a hot tub.
10) Jellyrolls and Baby Got Back......

Great thread, Toad! It'll be interesting to see what people come up with, with the "outside the parks" rule. This one requires some thought!

Here's my attempt, and mind you, these aren't necessarily thing I've done, but ARE things I always "pencil in" as you said. I'll mark the ones I've done:

1 – Eat dinner at the California Grill during the fireworks (done)
2 – Rent a watercraft ANYWHERE, pref. Seven Seas Lagoon
3 – Cirque du Soliel - La Nouba (done, and won't ever miss it again)
4 – Ride up front in the monorail (done)
5 – Take the Friendship boat from Epcot to the Boardwalk, or vice versa. (done)
6 – Buy an Attraction Poster and Monorail(done, at it's getting harder to find one I don't have! lol)
7 – Play a round or two of Golf at the Lake Buena Vista Course (done)
8 – Spend hundreds upon hundreds at DTD Marketplace on one of the final nights with our AP discount (done, )
9 – Candlelight Processional with dinner pckg.(done, so relaxing, and sometimes I even fall asleep)
10 – Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (done)

I know the last two are in Epcot and the MK respectively, BUT they are special, seasonal events, so I figured it was OK. ;)

I get the feeling if I had said in the post "for anyone who PMs me you get fifty Disney Dollars" I would not have given many out.

NOTE: This is an example, you will not be getting Fifty Disney Dollars.

2. Checking both the mechanical and electronic locks at the resorts to make sure I can still pick them.
3. Checking out the classic section of the Virgin MegaStore.
4. Pool hopping. (J/K)

7. Giving my seat on a Disney bus to a pregnant lady.
8. Testing the resort Internet connections to make sure I can still "spoof" the system.
9. Replacing those low wattage light bulbs in my resort room(s) with "normal" bulbs!
10. Getting PS via the resort phone, while others called 90 days in advance!

Tonight's top ten list...

10) Feel the excitement and awe as I first enter Disney property after being away. The anticipation of the next few days, the feeling of pure joy that I only feel at WDW

9) Decide if I want to take the monorail or the ferry to the Magic Kingdom. It's a tough choice!

8) Goto one of the water parks. I've only been to one once, but now a trip to WDW would be incomplete without going there

7) Go through all of our souvenier bags after we get back to our resort to see all the cool things we have bought

6) Go swimming in our resort pool after a long day in the hot sun, especially after all the families have gone to bed and it's just my wife and I and the old guy just floating by himself in the deep end. Is he following us? :lookaroun

5) Shop at DTD until I feel bad because they closed a half hour ago and they really want me to leave

4) Drink the wonderful juice they serve at the breakfast buffet at the Boma

3) Shop at Property Control (I am so lucky to be married to a CM lol)

2) Go to at least one show at the Comedy Warehouse in PI every night of our stay

1) Listening to Mickey telling me "Oh boy! Are we glad to see you!" on my phone every morning!

It was hard to think of 10 things to do outside of the parks, but I enjoyed every minute of thinking about it :D

Woody, you never cease to amaze me as only a few on these boards can do that. Can you describe in further detail #2, #6 and #8? I'm assuming the lightbulb one is in regards to the ones in the bathrooms or do you physically change them?
