I'm currently reading Divine Justice by David Baldachi
Not sure what I will take on my trip, but looking forward to another great read.
Thanks, I will look into that one. I'm wondering how long until they make a movie of the series, of course, wondering who will star? But some stupid studio executive will do the series out of order.I love David Baldacci books, especially the Camel Club series.
If you haven't read it yet, you should read "The Whole Truth". It has a whole new character I wish he would write more of.
Great book. Ever since the birth of my Son I have not been able to read much. I am still stuck on "Centennial" by Michener.just finished reading oscar wilde's 'a picture of dorian gray' and jack london's 'the road'...dorian gray was an incredible feat of literature imo, but i love wilde's writing!
started on 'robinson crusoe' by daniel defoe yesterday...really looking forward to getting stuck into it!
That has been sitting on my shelf for the longest time, and I really should tackle it.:lol:just finished reading oscar wilde's 'a picture of dorian gray' and jack london's 'the road'...dorian gray was an incredible feat of literature imo, but i love wilde's writing!

Always reminds me of the HM Picture, though...:lookaroun![]()
and jack london's 'the road'...
 Very nice! That's what WED based if off of, afterall.Funny. I read that book for a HUGE 11th grade english project that required a creative cover, and I used the two most extreme HM portrait pictures for my cover. It was actually really cool.
I liked the book. It's kind of intense.
Try as I might, I cannot remember that one.
I know I have read everything London published, so I must have read it sometime.
Maybe I will pull it off the shelf this afternoon and refresh my brain.

My book club just finished Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers, a retelling of the story of Hosea. Despite my leeriness before reading it, it is now probably one of my favorite novels of all time.
You really should! My fiance read that earlier this year and kept it hidden under his The Quotable Lewis removable book cover. He enjoyed it though and keeps telling me that I should read it some time.
Really?! ":brick:" ?More religious texts...:brick:
More religious texts...:brick:
Yes, really, becuase it's for research, and though I am trying to make it as interesting as possible, let's be realistic, yes?:wave:You really should!
Really?! ":brick:" ?
hmmm....
Maybe?:lookaroun:lol:So should this be titled Tell Us What You're Reading, unless it's anything to do with Religion?
It wasn't so much that he minded reading the religious texts it was just that he has been doing it constantly and is just kind of over it now, I think that was all he meant by the smiley...:wave:Really?! ":brick:" ?
hmmm....
Indeed it was.:wave:It wasn't so much that he minded reading the religious texts it was just that he has been doing it constantly and is just kind of over it now, I think that was all he meant by the smiley...
Ya know I really think they don't, especially after the fit the church through over him writing them...I haven't read any religious material since "Last Temptation of Christ" back in the 80s.
The movie was better.
Unless "DaVinci Code" or "Angels and Demons" counts.....:lookaroun
