I haven't read any religious material since "Last Temptation of Christ" back in the 80s.
The movie was better.

Unless "DaVinci Code" or "Angels and Demons" counts.....:lookaroun
I wish! That would have made my final Thesis MUCH easier to write.

And I'm delving into the deep stuff here.:brick:From "God's Funeral" to Nietzsche's "Civil and Political" religion, I got it all!

I'm getting a little bit crazy with my reading lately. I LOVE my Sony E-Reader so I'm reading Twenties Girl by Sophie Kinsella on that. Then I have a book that I'm very s l o w l y reading called Shadowland in a series by Alyson Noel which has started to bore me because I think I misunderstand my own interest in some of these books about mortals and vampires and everything. (Love the Twilight books and the Mortal Instruments series though!) I also have the first Vampire Diaries book by LJ Smith since I love the show! I think I should finish those up but after that I want to read Harry Potter (I know I'm ashamed I haven't read them yet!) I also want to read PS I Love You because I love the movie. PLUS a million more books that are on my list to read.

Heading for the great escape.
I is now reading "Glasgow Kiss" another Tartan Noire novel this time set in Glasgow, though as of yet theres been no Glasgow Kiss involved. Have to say that while its a good plot and well written it lacks the laugh out loud humour of Brookmyre and the cold brutality of MacBride (whos 3rd and 4th books in the Logan series Ill be reading next)

Just started

His Excellency: George Washington.

I picked it up a while ago when it came out in hardcover (2005) and somehow it ended up not getting put into the roatation.

I was looking through the bookcase the other night and noticed it and realized I had not read it yet. So there you go.

Today I just finished Paper Town by John Green. It wasn't as good as his previous two books. I also recently finished The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera for the second time, and it remains one of my favorite books.

I'm also currently in the midst of On the Road by Jack Kerouac (for fun), and will soon be starting The Bluest Eye for an English class.

I mights also start The Great Gatsby here pretty soon, too.
