Gotta love Teardrop.

*anxiously waits House tomorrow*

Last album I bought was Wreckage by Overseer. I'm not sure if I posted that in the topic yet. Anyway, it's a great album. I give it 4.5 stars. Other than that, I don't really buy many albums, mainly I just get individual songs.

House is a show on FOX about doctors.

That's a wild oversimplification. It's billed as "The Cure for the Common Medical Drama," but is more of a... Medical Dramedy. The main character, a doctor in Princeton, NJ, portrayed by Hugh Laurie, is a bitingly funny, sarcastic, and very intelligent doctor, who had muscle death in his leg and uses his cane, basis for some of the humor. An edited "Teardrop" is it's theme song.

New Albums: Quadrohpenia, The Who Sell Out, Who's Next, and The White Album (Or The Beatles, whatever) all 5 stars.

OK, now I understand how the show combined with Massive Attack. I was a little clueless (not the first time).

If you like Donna Summer I would download from iTunes the Blue Man Group version of "I Feel Love", it is great. They even have a EP of several versions of that song as well. Really good stuff.

How do you like the David Gilmour album? I read mixed reviews and have been toying with getting it.

In part it sounds like the last twoFloyd albums. Lots of dave playing guitar. Its actually quite good. I read the review in classic rock and its very cutting. Mind you I dont know why they are surprised that a solo album by a guitarist is full of guitar.

Let me just say it's good to see other U2 fans on this board (SIR90210 and MrToad). I too am a huge U2 fan (to put it mildly) :D

They are my favorite band. They were my first concert (if you exclude the Peaches & Herb with Dionne Warwick show my parents dragged me to in 6th grade :animwink: ). I was on vacation visiting family in Ireland in 1983 and saw them headline at a racetrack in Dublin. Along with them played, a local band called A Perfect Crime, Steele Pulse, Big Country, The Eurythmics and Simple Minds. I paid only 12 pounds to go. You can read about that show here: http://www.richard.hare.dsl.pipex.com/u2info9.html

From there on out I was a huge fan. Took a little time for the rest of America to catch on though.

Wow. Great stuff. You got to see them in the early years and in their home country no less.

I first saw them on the Zoo TV tour back in '92. I've been fortunate enough to see them a bunch of times since including 3 incredible Vertigo Tour shows.
