I am not sure. I will have to see if it is. It is a cheapie so I don't know.
Over here it's common practice to make your DVD player work with regions around the world. A quick Google usually reveals a handset hack that will let you use discs from around the world.

My old boss lives in the UK and I know he was doing that quite a bit (grabbing movies when over in the US and watching at home). I will take a look around to see.

Thanks again,
Mike

Jack Johnson :: Brushfire Fairytales :: Rivals his later CD, In Between Dreams. They're both very good. My favorite song on this one would have to be "Bubble Toes", Though they're all good.

On Friday (when I go to Target) I plan on getting the debut CD by Jack's Mannequin. Andrew Mcmahon (the man behind JM) is also the lead singer of Something Corporate, one of my favorite bands of all time.

I just bought Jack Johnson's "Curious George" soundtrack album, and I love it. There're some great songs on that disc. Now I wanna go get more of his music. What would you suggest?

All are great. I like In Between Dreams best, followed by Brushfire Fairytales then On and On.

I decided to buy Jack's Mennequin's album, "Everything in Transit" a day early.

I haven't even finished the CD and already I'm IN LOVE with it. It is great. I recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Great choice, Streetlight is definitely one of my favorite bands. I can't wait to hear their new stuff this summer.

I've determined that the best album of last year was:

1113170172.jpeg

If you haven't picked this baby up, drop what you are doing immediately and do it! Brillaint in every sense of the world. Musically original. Lyrically clever. Good stuff.

As for more conventional fare, I'd throw my support behind the often overlooked celtic-pop mash up of "Carbon Leaf." If you're a fan of Off Kilter, they're a good band to check out. Especially, in their last two outings: "Indian Summer" and "Echo Echo."
