Just want to touch on a few real quick. I have the OK Go album - Oh No and I agree, great band and people should check them out.

Also Death Cab for Cutie - Plans is one of my favorite albums. They are awesome. The lead singer is also the singer for The Postal Service. Check em out...

I love The Postal Service.

The female vocals for TPS are provided by the lead singer in Rilo Kiley, if you didn't know.

- Sufjan Stevens "Illinois"
- Jack Johnson "In Between Dreams"
- Peter Gabriel "So"
- Aerosmith "Pump"
- Dane Cook "Retaliation"

Jack Johnson - In Between Dreams is awesome. I just pre-ordered the Curious George soundtrack on iTunes as it is Jack Johnson.

I have toyed with getting Sufjan Stevens - Illinois but still have not made the leap.

I did not know that but have had Rilo Kiley - More Adventurous in my iTunes cart for a month or two. Someday I will get it. I totally went overboard from like Oct. to Dec. on iTunes and spend about $500.00. I need to slow it down a bit which is hard.

Thanks, I am sure I will be getting it. I usually use my eBay cash that I get in PayPal to buy my music. I have some stuff going in there today so I will be buying some more music.

I also though need a new car stereo. I purchased a new car a few months back that the head unit does have a connection for my iPod and the FM transmitters don't work to hot in my car. I am wasting money burning all these CDs so I might as well buy a new stereo.

If you don't have Air's other albums, do yourself a favour and get them. I love Air.

I just have Moon Safari. What would you recommend as the next one to get? Thanks. :)

Thin Lizzy..."Jailbreak". Great classic rock CD to replace the album that I wore out decades ago.

The Mountain Goats..."The Sunset Tree". John Darnielle is a brilliant and clever lyricist and very entertaining on stage.

XTC..."Nonesuch". Again replacing an old album that I couldn't find on I-tunes.

Of Montreal..."Satanic Panic in the Attic" and "The Sunlandic Twins". Great 60s'-ish pop-rock

Lights & Sounds- Yellowcard- Alternative (So says iTunes) 4 1/2 stars
Achtung Baby- U2- Rock- 5 stars (Holy crap, best album ever!)
All That You Can't Leave Behind- U2- Rock- 4 1/2 stars
Tommy- The Who- Rock Opera- 4 1/2 stars
Mannheim Steamroller Christmas Extrordinarre- Rock- 5 stars

I've also bought single songs by Aerosmith, The Who, and Falco (Dude Looks Like a Lady, Dream On, Baba O'Riley, Who Are You, Won't Get fooled Again, and Rock Me Amadeus) recently. I'm hoping to move over more so to digital music from iTunes, if only because it's cheaper.

I am a huge U2 fan. They were my first concert ever (way back in 1983). I saw them in Ireland during the War tour. They were the headliner of 6 bands which were (in playing order)

A Perfect Crime (some local Dublin band that went nowhere)
Steal Pulse (Reggae band out of the UK)
Big Country
The Eurythmics
Simple Minds
U2

Cost me only 12 pounds to get in...

Have been a huge fan ever since. I just saw them 2 times this fall at MSG in NY. If you don't have the complete U2 from iTunes, it is well worth it even if you already own all the albums which I did. You get about 450 songs, some if which are really rare, some live unrealed shows, etc. Awesome stuff...

You don't know how mush I envy you. I've been checking the U2 tour site daily to see if, by any miracle of God, they'll come to the US on the Vertigo this summer. As for the iTunes box set, I've been trying to convince my parents the help chip in on the purchase. But if it costs me an iPod Nano, I'll just wait.

I heard rumors that they will be coming back to play stadiums. I would prefer it be inside as stadium sound kinda stinks but if that is what they will do, I will go. :) Have you seen them before?

Just wanted to share a few pics. My wife had purchased me tickets for my birthday last year for a show on Oct. 7. We had seats 5 rows from the back corner of the stage. Super close but I did not know I could bring a camera so no pics. :(

It was my wife's first U2 show. She never really liked them but loved the show so much she is now hooked (it is all she will listen to) and we decided to try to get more tickets. We got some on stubhub that were at the back of the floor on the first set of bleachers. These are some pics from that show.

Unfortunately, no. Pitifully enough, I've never been to a concert that wasn't given by a symphonic orchestra at any point in my memory. BTW, great pictures, I've got the one from Original of the Species (the big heads, right?) as my wallpaper.
