Easy answer: Little matter of some slight disagreements between the US and Japan back in the early 1940s that would be hard to skip over.:dazzle::dazzle:
Why not!? UGH! It's a perfect fit!

MTW? What Lee said. Bullets? Not the main event.
And as green as Fuji Film:
Bullets? Not the main event
Hm, interesting. Is this something we haven't heard of before?
Jenn, Japan in always under tarps...Land of the Rising Sun? I think not...More like Rising Tarp!:brick::lol:
Plus...You get to see this week!:sohappy:
Hey, this kind of perfection needs upkeep...
That's two different things, though, Fuji as a sponsor versus the basic idea of a Mt. Fuji attraction. It's perfectly understandable that one sponsor would balk at another sponsor that was a direct competitor, and could cause a fuss to prevent the second sponsor from coming on board. But the original rumor was that a ride based on Mt. Fuji, sponsored by anyone, was off-limits. Given that Mr. Fuji is the most famous geographic feature in Japan, if Kodak had a problem with that it would make them unbelievably petty. It would be like GM pulling out of Test Track because one of the spheres outside Mission Space represented the planet Mercury.Oh Really? Fuji Film offered to sponsor the construction of the mountain. Kodak threatened to pull their sponsorships - guidebooks, film, photo locations, Imag - if it happened. Eisner had to decline Fuji, and never let Kodak forget it.
Better than Italy.
True.
But Japan's food situation needs help.:hurl::brick:
Better than Italy.
