can't wait to start booking trips with the little one!

i know it's not totally a disney topic. but, my wife and i have been trying for over 3 years, and one of many things that kept me from getting discouraged was the idea of trips to wdw with the little one.

don't want to bore anyone with background, but this will be our first baby together. i have two step children with her- boys 15 and 18, which i have raised for the last 10 years. now i'm gonna be a DADDY! my wife had a reversal done 3 years ago as well as many other procedures since then. she's a trooper to say the least!

i'm just soooo excited to make those first few trips!!!! i'm even planning one for about the 7 1/2 month mark. i've always told my wife that i want pictures of her in wdw when she's noticeably pregnant. maybe even some mickey ears on her belly! :D

thanks for listening! i just need to tell everyone!! :sohappy::sohappy:

and if you see me there in late september/ early october taking pic after pic of my expecting wife, it's probably me, he he.

Congrats! Nothing like going to Disney with your own child, no matter how much you love your step-children or nieces and nephews, it's never the same as your own! :)

Awwwwww! Congrats!! Are we looking for Disney names???

well, we haven't really talked too much about names yet. although if it's a girl, i'd like ruth to be her middle name after my grandmother- kinda tough to fit that one in since it's not really modern.

if it's a boy, i really want walter to be in there. i guess thats as disney as it gets!

you know, i've been where you are. even before i met my wife, i couldn't wait to share that with my little one. im my mind it's a sign of a future great parent! ;)

congratulations, nothing better than a new person to love. enjoy every minute.
i agree with getting there while pregnant, it's special somehow. took my sister-in-law and niece-in-utero last year. my SIL is a real trooper, you'd never know she was pregnant if her 34 week belly didn't keep getting in the way of the lapbars. LOL.
disney without kids is wonderful........disney WITH kids is a deeply emotional experience. ENJOY, and best of luck

i've been telling my wife since we first atarted this journey- i want pictures "of belly" in wdw!

i'm already thinking of the trip for baby's first haircut on main street, i think daddy will need one that day too!

congratulations! :sohappy::sohappy::sohappy:
Disney with kids is great. We started taking DD14 when she was 6 months old and DS9 when he was 7 months old. The kids have been to Disney just about every year since they were infants and we are going again in June!
There is just something extra special about seeing Disney through the eyes of your own child.

Very happy news! Congratulations!! :sohappy:

We were at WDW last November at 6 1/2 mos pregnant. Some tips: have your wife bring several different pairs of comfy shoes, if you're staying on property put in a request for a room close to the main lobby and transportation and ask for extra pillows. POFQ was very accommodating for me. Also, a brief swim at the end of the night can do wonders.

Have fun!!

How exciting. My husband and I just had our first child in Dec. and we talk about taking him to WDW all the time. We visited while I was pregnant and we had the best time just had to take it easy. I wish you two the best and can't wait to see pictures!:)
