Is Joanna working there???

Are you going anywhere besides Cape May??? You got the free dining as well right?

Yes, Jo is working there. Nope, not on free dining. We're using a friend's DVC points to stay at the Beach Club villas, so we're not eligible. No biggie, cause he gave us a great deal on the room so we are paying for the DDP. We're also eating at Teppan Edo, Coral Reef, Crystal Palace, and breakfast at Cape May. :slurp:

Oh I see - I don't know how that DVC works.
I swear, I read every thread about it and I still cannot figure out how the heck it works. Then I get the DVD and they tell you how great it is, not once do they tell you what it costs though!

Yeah, it is definitely a bit confusing at first. I learned a bit about it because we've used our friends' points twice now... this past April at AKL and next month at BCV. In a nutshell, the member buys points from Disney (or from another owner through resale), and can use the points each year as they wish to book DVC rooms. The number of points the room "costs" depends on things like time of year, weekend or weekday, size of room (studio, 1 BR, 2 BR, etc). In addition to the cost of the points they also pay yearly maintenance fees. Our friend had points for 2009 that he wasn't going to use, so he booked reservations for us and we paid him for it. (much less than what Disney would have charged, even with discounts) Worked out well for both of us.

It's nice to meet you Joanna. You work at Hollywood Studios I hear. Has it been crowded lately? Were going Sept 27-29th and have given up on getting dinning reservations cause everything seems to be booked solid!

Yes. I work at TSM.

Overall the Studios hasn't been that crowded, with the exception of TSM (that ride is always busy).
