Back from the ride in Texas! Great ride! I am on the left and my buddy Ken on the right, almost 15,000 riders! Weather was perfect..only mid 80's! More pics to follow along with more news!

NO! It was great! :sohappy:...I just had cramps at mile 45..worked that out..then at mile 60 with 2 miles to go cramps hit BAD! I just slowed down and coasted in the best I could...but..IT WAS GREAT!

Yes, cramps I can work out, or get sag car help. There were SO many wrecks, one guy we had to help took a header up a hill and we had to turn him over to maintain his airway until an ambulance showed up, slowed down the ride for at least 4 to 5 thousand riders at mile marker 30..he had surgery on the right orbit of his eye and lacerations on his chin and no dought a concusion! Many other wrecks also.Well at least they weren't completly debilitating till you were almost done.

She was kinda hot and there was so many people...but she did great..Carina missed filming me at the finish due to silly girl wanting to be held...oh well!

Last we checked he had the surgery to the orbit of his eye and the chin taken care of...not heard about the rest of his head injury...if it was a concussion..it will always be with him..I know..I have had plenty! :brick:

Yes, Carina and I talked about things like that on the 7 hour ride home today...

Yeppers, 18 years ago today my hubby got stuck with me :animwink:, I remember that day so well....so hot and humid I kept ripping my pantihose and had to buy some on the way to the church building...my dad forgetting to come downstairs and tell us it was time and me barely getting to the end of the aisle because of that before the music stopped...lots of laughter and fun and excitement.
Now I'm sitting here in a sweatshirt because it's unnaturally cold this a.m., grayer, fluffier, and infinitely more blessed for having Mike in my life.
Thanks for the good wishes also on Mike's new job. I'll have to get used to seeing him in dress clothes again...he's been dressing casual for the last 4 1/2 years. :lol:
