WDWMagic EPCOT-30 Meet?

I'm registered for Celebrations 30 and the dessert party, would love to meet up with more WDWMagicers!! I have an ADR at Les Chefs de France at 5:30 (because DH is a rather picky eater, so not much of a F&W browser), but I'm sure I could squeeze in some booth browsing before the dessert party...let me know where & when!

There's quite a few from here participating in the Tower of Terror running events also...I'll post meet info over on that thread, too, the more the merrier!

I'll gladly meet anytime in the morning of the 1st. Unfortunately I have some commitments in the evening... any morning events going on? :)

EDIT: I'll likely be there at rope drop... possibly wearing a WDWmagic button or something. Should we have a designated WDWmagic area at rope drop? :D

I wear my WDWMagic button any time I'm in the parks, unless I happen to be wearing a WDWMagic shirt... Then it would be just too much! ;)

Buttons would help us find each other throughout the WDWCelebrations' event. Great idea!

As for the event schedule, it looks like it may have to change. The rededication ceremony is now looking like it'll conflict with their scavenger hunt. Hoping Disney gets some concrete info out so we can pin down a time for our meet... @MarkTwain you may be able to join us anyway...

Here's a thought....About the only time I can think of that will not cause a conflict with anniversary events would be before the park opens. I am an early riser so being at Epcot at 7:00 AM would not phase me in the slightest.

Thoughts?

I'll be there in the AM but my flight home leaves at 6pm so I'll probably be leaving the parks around 1:30pm. I'm down to meet anyone before that though! I'll have my WDWMagic button on every day! :)

Well, we're staying at the Boardwalk....and I was planning to go for a run about 7 that morning. Short run....and I'm still slow, but still a run.

What about after illuminations? ADH, Jellyrolls, or maybe just out on the boardwalk?

We need time for things to happen.
I got a shirt and pin from there. The shirt came quickly in a couple o' days.
Never got the pin. I just called this afternoon they're sending it to me UPS 2 day!
Good place to shop!

You guys decide the what, when and where and I'll see you there.

The WDWCelebrations schedule [still tentative, but looking rather final] has been changed. There is a window available on 1 October for a WDWMagic meet for anyone in EPCOT at 5PM for about 45 minutes if people are interested.

What I propose:

A meet at the Fountain of Nations [the end nearest the pin-trading station] for any WDWMagicers who are available at 5PM on 1 October. We can exchange usernames and put faces to them. :cool:

For anyone who's leaving earlier or otherwise can't make it, keep an eye out for me and feel free to say hi whenever... I'm easy enough to spot, 6'3" with a beard and wearing a blue nametag that says "Monty" ;) [If that's not enough to single me out, I don't have any fingers on my right hand and my left has three toes instead of fingers]

I will be onsite with my family, and assuming that it arrives on time will have a WDWMagic button on my backpack strap. I'll check this thread the night before to see what you all come up with an make an attempt to spot somebody and say hello.
