1982 Parrot in front of POTC

I sure wish when they changed POTC they had left the parrot.

They are so much smaller now. We saw them on one of our last trips.

1984 Polynesian Picture

What a great picture, one to be remembered in the near future.

I came across these papers I saved from breakfast on the Empress Lily Riverboat back in Sept. 1981. It was a very nice sitdown breakfast and the characters came around to each of the tables. It was the first character breakfast we ever went to. I don't remember if there were other ones going on at Disney at that time.

In 1984 the boys were given these papers when attending Minnie's Menehune
Breakfast. If I remember correctly, it was held in the Poly. My husband I disagree on the exact location in the Poly, but I thought you entered where the sushi bar is today and there was a room in the back. It may have been a buffet.

My son had two character meals his first trip in 1988. Empress Lilly, there wasn't a Pleasure Island yet and The Original Chef Mickey's sit down restaurant in DTD where Chef Mickey Strolled around. It was flattened for Rainforest Cafe.

Disney World Hats from 1980's

Two of my sons' caps from the 1980 being modeled by an old cabbage patch doll.

This is the Goofy Hat I wore on my Honeymoon in 1983 in Disneyland. Good memories with that hat.

This leads me to a question. Ever see yourself or someone you know in one of these photos? A few years back(can't remember the site) but there was a pic of Wonders of Life and sure enough, my Brother in Law was in someone else's photo.

I am always looking for my family in these old pictures. Haven't seen us yet though. I love all these pictures. Brings back my childhood and inspires me to go through the boxes in my basement looking for all of our old photo albums.

This was 1982 Magic Kingdom. My mom, sister and I went with some of her co-workers and their kids. I was 6 years old. I'm the blonde with pigtails.
