I believe that was taken from Fantasyland somewhere near Mrs. Pott's and Snow White. I think that shows when the former 20,000 Leagues was transformed into Pooh's Playful Spot. Guess timing would be sometime in 2006?

That would be it! It was taken from the Dumbo ride, so I didn't think it really broke any rules, although I was still a little nervous posting it--seems like there's always someone who doesn't like this sort of stuff to be on display.

Thanks everyone for the compliments on the Main Street Panorama... glad you all liked it!

Someone asked about the colors - well, in my opinion, first off - the D300 is top of the line when it comes to color. The camera makes it difficult to make bad pictures. But I did increase the saturation VIA the channel mixer in PSPX2, then pulled down just the red as it really stuck out and looked overly saturated to me. That's all I did as far as colors go.

I'd love to see that photo you were taking of the DF (dear fiance'). You camera looked like it was pointed at her and all the hub Christmas decorations. Or, it could have been a photo of Tomorrowland you were getting. I'd also love to see the photo you took of the storyteller in Canada. Did you happen to try to see the final show of Celebrate the Season? Did you happen to get a photo of all the characters on stage when they announced a photo op and then shot off the fireworks? If so, I'd love to send a copy of that photo to one of the cast members. It was great seeing you again.

By the way, when I first saw your DF in Canada, I knew I knew her and was trying to figure out which princess she was friends with. Then I realized who she was. If the two of you ever decide to come work for WDW, she would be hired by entertainment as a look-a-like in a heart beat.

Regarding those pictures, there are some issues. The picture I was taking at the hub was of Sarah watching the Castle. I don’t know how, but I took three pictures of her watching it without her noticing that I was taking pictures of her (which is pretty odd, since the external flash was firing pretty brightly). However, I cannot locate those pictures, or 22 other pictures that I took before and after those pictures. I am hoping the memory card wasn’t in some way corrupted by the rain, but it’s odd that those pictures are missing, as every other picture from that night transferred successfully. I am trying to run some recovery programs on the card, but so far, no success.

As for the Celebrate the Season shot, I do have a couple of that scene. Unfortunately, I wasn’t expecting the characters to rush out so suddenly, so I didn’t have a chance to change my camera settings. I still got a couple of shots, but they are far from good. If you want, I will edit and send you one, though. No problems with the Canadian Santa shots! They actually turned out pretty well (in my opinion). I will post one in the next couple of days.

I really wish you wouldn’t have made the comment about Sarah being friends with any characters. It’s something she has really wanted to do this coming summer, but I don’t think it’s such a good idea. Prior to our trip, she hadn't mentioned it in a while, so I thought the urge had passed. Then, she mentioned the idea again a few times during the trip, but I figured it was mostly because we were there, and it would pass once we got home. Now your comment has spurred her to read more about what kind of characteristics the characters look for in their friends.

Anyway, here is today’s picture—the Partners statue with bokeh from the Castle Icicle Lights in the background:

As always, clicking the picture will take you to its Flickr page, where more fun can be had!

Gibson, thanks for the clarification on the construction pic. I wanted to guess that it was Fantasyland, because I could see the carousel; but I just couldn't remember when there had been that much construction work in Fantasyland. (And I didn't want to look like an idiot if I was wrong. :lookaroun )

DisneyDad, is that Great Britain in EPCOT in post 1405? (I might look like an idiot again, but oh well).

Here's mine for today. Same as yesterday (post 1383), only blue. . .

WDWFigment - Welcome back! I hope you and your fiancée had a magical vacation at WDW. Your first photo from that trip is beautiful and I'm looking forward to seeing the rest.

Jekyll Baker - I enjoy your perspective very much - especially this photo of the sun shining through the "palm tree" in Tomorrowland. Well done!
