Holy cow - he looks pretty darned close to the "real" Jack Sparrow! I might have to stalk that area a bit....LOL :ROFLOL:

Lisalyn, girl I am with you on this one, I had to keep staring at the pic to find a feature that would make me believe it was not the Real Jack Sparrow. so I will have to be checkin him out!!

Being a "Poly girl" I don't recognize this resort. It IS beautiful! Which one is it?

That is the Beach Club lobby - we loved the BC but are actually considering the Poly for our next trip. We had dinner at Ohana's and got a chance to walk around a bit.

btw: of all the cost saving changes in the last year, I certainly miss them leaving the lights on the Castle on much past closing. The picture above was taken an hour and a half after closing and the lights were already off.

The Polynesian is the only resort we have ever stayed at. We are intrigued by other places, but no one in the family can bear leave "our" Poly. And it's the closest to Hawaii I'll ever get.

If you DO try the Polynesian, go to the luau. The show is amusing, fire twirlers awazing and the food delicious! I even got to go onstage to learn the hula for my birthday!
