Ooh Ooh tell me how! tell me how!:slurp:

First you get some pork, then you .....

Ya know, this could head in a bad direction very quickly .

Seriously though, you can make it cheap and easy, or you can make it the long slow good way.

The long slow way involves getting a pork shoulder butt, smoking it hours in the smoker, shredding it, and mixing it with the BBQ sauce you made from scratch.

The down and dirty way. Take a pork shoulder butt. Put it in a slow cooker (crock pot) Cover with water. Quarter up an onion or two and some garlic. Add them to the pot, with some salt, pepper, and (this is pretty much key) some liquid smoke (2 TSP or so). Cook it till it falls off the bone (8 hours or so)

Seperate the meat from the bones and fat. Shread the meat using two forks. Mix with your favorite BBQ sauce type condiment.

Eat.

I have some crock pot recipies that have better ingreidents (beer, bay, etc) but the above will make pretty much what WDW serves.

Are those greens good? I hate the green beans they serve at Disney and always try to sub for something else..........just wondering how the greens are? Thanks!

They were pretty decent. While I'm not crazy about collard greens, these were enjoyable. Doesn't help matters that they seem to go really well with the fried chicken and the mashed potatoes loaded with gravy!

How long!!! Thanks Dave, It sounds simple enough, but I'm no chef :dazzle: I shall give this a try next time I have some time off work. The BBQ sauce will come out of a bottle I'm afraid

You stick it all in the crock pot and let it sit long enough and it will be good. (True for so many things.) Slap it on a bun and you'll feel like you're at WDW.

It'll take more than that to make me feel like I was at WDW but worth a go! Thanks
