Narcoossee's surf and turf

This looks GREAT. Except for that sauce/gravy deal going on. I have a feeling I will be asking for all sauces on the side during my trip next week...I like to control the amount and sometimes a bad sauce can ruin a perfectly good steak! You can usually scrape most off but there will still be some remaining and stubborn flavor/ick...

Speaking of my trip, I'm planning to take a photo of ALL FOOD I order on my trip next week. Everything. I'm doing the dining plan. So get ready for photo overload!

I agree with you about sauces on steaks but I have to say it was barely noticeable. As you said, get it on the side but give it a try.

Dessert at T-Rex - these would be the Meteor Bites, which are fresh regular and chocolate donutholes with both chocolate and caramel to dip into. Yummy!

andy1278 How was the food there? Did you have to wait a long time to get in. We are going in Dec and would like to cancel Capt jacks and go there. Maybe we ought to keep it until we see we can get in there. Any help since you are the first to tell about anything in the restaurant. Can you pick rooms or can you roam before you eat to see all the decor? Let us know

The only thing with cancelling your Capt. Jacks is that you can't make advance reservations for T-Rex. The lines may be down by then, though. It seats a LOT of people (650) so the wait can't be TOO bad depending on when you hit it.

We didn't get to pick our room, but we were led through almost all of them and told about them on the way to our table. You are free to roam as you want from your table, and it's actually encouraged in the case of the every-thirty minutes "meteor shower."

I enjoyed the food, but that's all subjective from person to person I'm sure. What we tried ($100 later):

Starters - Brachiosaurus Bruschetta (good if you're into that kind of thing, but I'm picky) and Megalosaurus Mozzarella (your regular mozz sticks you can get anywhere)

Meals - Cretaceous Chicken Fried Steak (delicious!) with waffle fries (not as good as Chick-fil-A) and raptor rice (not bad), and Primitive Pork Shank (a bit dry) with a veggie mix (not bad) and a jurassic salad

Dessert - the above, which were excellent and very plentiful.

I'll post more pictures of the food in the next, oh, three days or so! Perhaps I should write a review in the review section. :)
