It was soooooooo good! They make it fresh on order so it takes a little bit longer but so worth the wait!

I will see LowesChevy's filet with the NY Strip from Yachtsman, served with Peppercorn Brandy Sauce & Potato Gratin w Diamond Cheddar. :wave:

and raise you the inspired wine pairing they suggested with the NY Strip that night: :lol:

I beleive they have since run out of their inventory of Black Pearl Shiraz, because the menu shown at the dining reservations site now shows a different shiraz.

Truly, one of my top three meals ever. Just thinking about it causes me to stare off into space, trying to remind myself not to drool in public...

I liked the wine so much that I sought it out when I got home. Luckily found a local wine shop that had some in stock, although a different vintage. Bought all the bottles they had in the store (only 6). Will probably not serve it when I have company. :drevil:

Here are some pics from my trip in June. First off, the infamous Dole Whip!!

We had dinner at the Plaza on Main Street. I find this place to be highly under-rated. Mom and I both had the Strawberry Chicken Salad and it was too big to finish. We should have split it.

But because calories don't count in WDW, I *had* to order the Hot Fudge Sundae with Cookies and Cream ice cream.

And she *had* to have the Brownie Sundae.

We waddled back to the Poly.

We also went to Les Chefs de France for the first time. We've already rebooked for November! So good!!

We decided to do the 3 Course, Fixed Price. Here are our apps. I had the French Onion Soup. It was INCREDIBLE!!!

Mom got the Bleu Cheese Salad. She loved it.

For our main courses at Les Chefs, I chose the chicken (Demi Poulet). I didn't need a knife at all. It was so incredibly moist and tender.

Mom had the Short Ribs. They, too, were incredibly moist and so well-flavored!

Then for dessert at Les Chefs, I chose the Creme Brulee. I love, love, love Creme Brulee.

Mom wanted the chocolate cake, which she said was really good. (I don't really like chocolate, so I took her word for it.)

And because we had water with our meal, Celine, our amazing server, brought us Cafe au Lait to finish.

Finally, we stopped at Pizza Planet for a quick lunch. It's not stellar, but it's a lot of food, and when you're starving, it works!

We'll be back in November, so I'll take more pics then!
