From the OC Register: "Disney would not say how many were let go, saying only that the number of layoffs was a low single-digit percentage."

I'm not doubting you, I generally believe what you bring to the table. You've got a proven track record AND you're not the one saying that Joe Rhode was laid off - THAT was someone else, with zero scruples.
I also would not take that bet.....

Even The New York Post looks into things before they publish. I guess The National Inquirer or Weekly World News would be a better comparison?
I feel like "that someone else" ripped my content off too. No one else on the Internet was talking about Fitz getting laid off except for me

Why? That portfolio has always been an odd fit. Weis himself left Disney's California Adventure, the reason he was brought back to Walt Disney Imagineering, to do Shanghai Disney Resort.
No. I feel pretty comfortable saying that anyone with "tenure" at WDI will not be heading Marvel projects anymore.
I'll leave it at that.

I would assume that at this level someone of his stature is not simply "Laid Off".... the exit (assuming there is one) is much more graceful.
