I don't think they would bother installing air gates and new safety systems if they were just gonna rip it all out in a year.

Yea a pretty big rehab is coming up soon..Know offense Bill, but i'm not so sure if I can trust your threads..Who the heck is this Jon character? He doesn't look very trusting..
But back to the real topic..I really don't enjoy Snow White at all, it's a classic and everything..but it's just so old. I would actually love to see Robin Hood come to that area, or even Alice in Wonderland. There are so many rides that they can do..

I've always wondered by WDW doesn't have an Alice ride... what's more... I think they could do a fantastic job with a completely new concept given advances in dark ride technology.

We would all love new rides, but you can only have so many construction walls up in Fantasyland before it turns into Disneyland...I don't particularly care for Snow White, but I know it needs to stay just because it's part of the Fantasyland character. The inside of the volcano on Peter Pan's Flight is lined with aluminum foil, but we all love it because it's classic Fantasyland (and it rocks!). I wouldn't give up that Fantasyland character for anything.

Anyway, yeah, the rehab is on right now. But in my defense, rehabs are done sometimes to check on the status of an attraction for it's possible future conversion into another ride. I actually am sick of Snow... but I too agree that it is a classic... but then again, Mr. Toad was a classic as well, and look what happened to him. And no one better give me this crap about Mr. Toad NOT being a classic. It was a classic.
I never said a year... if they are just looking at it now, it will be a LONG time until anything would be done. I mean, look at how long it took them to build a Stitch attraction, and look at how long ago Stitch came out. It takes a lot of planning for a new ride. So, maybe in five years we'll get something new... not anytime soon.

If it aint broke dont fix it. Snow White is a classic dark ride that is part of the history of the MK. Why dont they create a ride instead of replacing one????? And by creating a ride I mean a ride not a dumbo type crap. Enough of that already.
What WDI needs to figure out is how to better use the space instead of taking away rides..... 20,000 leagues, Skyway, Mr. Toad. And leave the dame COP alone.

I really hope this ride is replaced. SW is one of the two rides in WDW that I loathe, the other being IASW. It still has cardboard cutouts, doesn't it? I hope they fix it up during the next rehab.
P.S. This wasn't meant to offend anyone, but I really, really don't like this ride.

They should keep Snow White and if they want a new dark ride they could put it in the old SkyWay spot.
