Indeed. If they knew ahead of time that they didn’t want to bring back any of the old drivers, I’m not sure why they even extended the invitation. Talk about false hope. They can’t even give the argument that past drivers weren’t good enough. All of them were rated just as a regular lyft driver was, and many of them had a 4.9 or even a 5 star rating. It was quite easy for management to see the star ranking of each individual driver - it was even part of their annual reviews.That seems a very odd move. Wonder what the story behind all of that is.
