Oh yeah, I should have listed mine too. So I'm going to be obnoxious and quote myself...I have number 10810 for the full. I submitted an estimated finish time of 5:30 (with proof).
Mine is 23846 for Goofy with a 4:30 estimated finish time (which will not happen) with proof. I thought my brother submitted a time but his bib number make me think he lied to me, because the time he would have submitted is faster than mine. No idea what the 5K bib number means...I don't recall submitting anything for that one. Last year I was 5606 for the marathon, which put me in Corral D.Woohoo!
I'm 23846 for Goofy and 2886 for the 5K...my brother is 29233 for Goofy (going to have to switch his corral I think)
I didn't submit a time since I figured we would finish in 5:15 to 5:30 for the full. They only wanted a time submit if you thought you would finish in under 5:00. Our best half marathon time was about 2:25 and we just did a 10k and finished in 1:03. What kind of time did you submit? Wondering if it is worth it to bring results to try to move up.Woohoo!

Okay, so that's confirmation that my brother definitely did not submit a time.I didn't submit a time since I figured we would finish in 5:15 to 5:30 for the full. Yep, that's what it is. Last year they started giving Goofy runners one bib to use for both races, so they need to be numbered differently. If I remember correctly, marathon-only runners are 1-20000, Goofy runners are 20,000-27,500 and half-only runners are in 30,000-50,000...or something like that.So you received a higher number and submitted a faster proven time? That's odd, I would have thought your number would be lower. Goofy must have something to do with it. You all are right, this is fun.
Because it has our bib number and we can guess the corral! But then don't we also get excited about new bathroms at MK?I don't get it, why does everyone get excited for the waver? Unless they also post the coral placements there isn't anything really exciting about the waver.

When we signed up for the Goofy, they ask your estimated finish time for the full. I think the Goofys numbers are spaced out throughout the corrals according to your estimated finish and not at the back of the pack. I guess they figured your half times also based on your estimated finish for the full.Yeah it looks like they put the Goofy runners at the back of the pack for the full since they think they will be pacing themselves more with the two races b2b. But does that mean you are at the front of the half? Behind the elites of course...
13368 for the full. Probably puts me in F, same as last year. My cousin is 11878. I think she is a bit overconfident.

I've had people do that in other events and it is very frustrating. I dont try nor alter my course since the path is clearly marked and they know there is an event going on. I have jumped out of the way once and damn near ripped my calf off my leg. All because someone was not paying attention. I know this is Johnny Redneck, but if I was at mile 25 and someone walked in front of me, with the exception of grandma/grandpa, Im stiff arming them with an "excuse me". Im not risking injury because of them being a DA.
Absolutely. Luckily, Birmingham's marathon (Mercedes) has a good barricade on the side of the roads for the last 1/10 or 2/10s so no family member feels compelled to get on the course and run with their runner, or even worse, cross the course for some reason. The thing is, at mile 25 even if I throw a stiff arm out there, there is a good chance I am going down with them. Once they are in my way, I tend to get tangled up with them. Better to not have to deal with them at all by staying away from the edges.

Woohoo! Yeah, hope your bro pulls through.Yay! We are corral buddies for the full!!! This all hinges on my brother getting a nice time in his 15k this weekend, otherwise I will likely drop back with him
Glad to see that they don't set you all in the back with those high numbers, I was worried for a bit.
