A bit of progress mainly with the foundation. I wonder if the point of the huge hole is to help sink the showbuilding a bit so its not so tall in the park? similar to Space and Soarin'

photo from darkbeer its from the Zephyr as Mickey's Fun Wheel has had 45 mins waits the past week or so. but the dedication for getting pictures is very much appreciated/

not sure if concept art was posted earlier in the thread. these pictures were taken by BFJen from MiceChat, gives a good overview of what the facade will look like (as well as the original building in Venice from which the TLM building is inspired from)

Complete with palm trees too yes? I really want to see more concept art of the MK one rather than just the one that out now.

The DCA Mermaid facade and Paradise Park should blend beautifully together. I cant wait till its done, ahh so many things coming in 2011!

A picture from Dateline Disneyland's update. it shows where the walls pushed further out to make room for construction.

Heres a screen shot of the Blue Sky Cellars updated video(from July 09), this is the shot that shows how the new Paradise Park, Parade Route, and Little Mermaid building will all be worked together. The rendering of Paradise Park looks very accurate to whats there now, course the real version has the huge trees and parade light towers.

But a better since on how the Little Mermaid building is more than just the building its also the area. Similar IMO to DL's Pirates.

thanks for that screenshot! love the way everything lines up nicely, especially with the stairs leading up to the main arch in the TLM building. can't wait to see that whole area all finished up

Nothing really new, just more foundation work thats moving a little faster.

The walls have moved slightly once again, Im guessing its also to remove some pavement from 2001. As its the last section in the area not touched yet.

You can see the 2nd half of the parade route just on the otherside of the walls, and some progress on the foundation.

Can't say I'm surprised. Almost every project so far has been behind schedule.. :dazzle: i'm guessing this is due to the recent storms?
