Correct.

Also word has it that the whole theater is now rumble, but the mural is still up. As soon as I see a picture posted somewhere I'll post it here.

I was there last night for dinner at Wine Country Trattoria and to see the Electrical Parade. I can vouch for the fact that the entire Golden Dreams theater has been condensed into rubble. The theater is gone, and lies in a heap of twisted steel and chunks of plaster.

The Palace of Fine Arts dome is still there, obviously. And the mural is also still there, but remember that it was a separate structure set out from the theater building by several feet. I have no doubt the mural will be gone within a day or two.

I took some pictures of it last night from the Golden Zephyr. Maybe I should try and set up a Smugmug account or something?

Okay, nevermind.

I just downloaded the photos I took last night, and trust me when I tell you that you don't want to see the results of a very amateur photographer taking pictures of a construction area, from a spinning Golden Zephyr rocket and after sundown no less, when said photographer had just had two glasses of Malbec.

Let's just wait a few hours for the real pros like Darkbeer or someone to upload a few photos of the destroyed Golden Dreams theater.

Oh, good. It looks like a lovely structure.

Makes me wonder how they will make it up for FL in WDW.

WDW is missing one big thing an official announcement:D:cool: But I'm wondering if MK does get one what it will look like as far as facade.

Obviously the demolition crew for Little Mermaid is working on weekends. This picture was taken by Darkbeer on Friday the 17th, of what remained of the Golden Dreams theater. http://darkbeer.smugmug.com/gallery/8945822_ZhAXq#594210216_rgGYC

But when I was there the evening of Saturday the 18th, that structure in the picture and all traces of the Golden Dreams theater structure had been torn down and lay in a giant heap of rubble behind the blue construction walls. There was nothing left of the theater.

They must have torn down the rest of that building on the morning of the 18th. Disney is paying some weekend overtime to get Little Mermaid underway at DCA!
