Voyage of the Little Mermaid is done, won't reopen with the parks.

The ip is a poor fit for Fantasyland. I think of that space as something that should be reimagined every decade or so. A theater show that is relevant and fits the land. They should try that.

Frozen, Brave, Tangled, Alice, Cindy, Sword in the Stone (If it gets a live action version), SB, and Pixie Hollow are all obvious possibilities.

Philharmonic is a perfect fit for the Hollywood Studio park.

So I would be fine with that. As long as the current Philharmagic location remains a theater style experience.

It’s relevant because it’s about an attraction’s permanent closure and that’s news...

Based on a rumor from someone who isn't what I'd consider a trusted source. I hear that Beauty and the Beast: Live isn't reopening. Do I get to make a thread about that?

There is at least the hint of a source. A rumour of a show never re-opening is interesting. There is already other threads discussing shows not opening at the moment as there is no Equity union agreement. They are two separate topics.

Equity is a separate issue, yes. But I was referring to a rumor that Beauty wouldn't reopen prior to those discussions.

They’ve done that. Philharmagic replaced Legend of the Lion King.

The shows with Equity performers at DHS are Indiana Jones, Frozen Sing Along, Disney Junior, Voyage of the Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Fantasmic. Operations cast, tech, custodial, etc were all trained and prepped on the reopening of Indy, Frozen, DJ, and BatB and social distancing markers were installed. The plans got axed because the Equity performers still haven’t agreed to return. Fantasmic was never prepped because nighttime spectaculars are still not happening any time soon. Mermaid was not prepped at all either.
