I remember once waiting in a 20+ minte line for Haunted Mansion and some kid threw up all over the place. (turkey leg or hot dog)

5 seconds went by and a couple of workers showed up and threw sawdust on it, which is apparently common for the parks. I think it might neutralize the smell.

Wow! This kid threw up in the space mountain strobe tunnel(you know how you could hear the people in the tunnel) and the CM's had to stop the ride and the janitor had to climb in the tunnel and after that, we rode it and it smelled like that scented bubble gum crap they put down after someone throws up in the tunnel.I felt like throwing up myself.:hurl:

As another poster said, that was Voban. Used on any protein spill, it mostly absorbs the liquid of the spill. The smell... That's a whole nother story/thread!!! :hurl: Lets just say once you smell Voban, you'll NEVER forget it.

Warning - nauseating thread drift here - I remember a trip I took to Six Flags New England a few years back, someone threw up on Tomahawk, one of these made to make you sick rides, http://www.sfne.com/index.php?cat=gallery&gallery=tomahawk , and so they made all of us in line wait, and they hosed it down. Then they ran the ride without anyone on it to dry it off or whatever. The water, which obviously had some traces of ..., was flying all over the place from the momentum of the ride. A few people walking up to the ride seemed to get hit by said water, not exactly sure what was going on. I don't get grossed out easily, but that was pretty nasty.

Ya it was pretty bad. I not sure if I would actually say I like that ride, maybe that experience had something to do with it. It's another one of those standard amusement park rides that are basically filler (I think Canobie even has one). Like most people, I only go to SFNE for Superman, or Bizarro, or whatever you wanna call it...

Warning: Thread drift - Last Thursday, My daughter and I were walking to the CBR bus from Magic Kingdom and a guy was running from a bus over to the bushes with his little girl in his arms. She was blowing chunks the whole way. That was the first time I had ever saw a "protein spill" at the world, hopefully it will be my last. :hurl:

To continue the protein spill drift.....

Story 1....Back in the early 90's I did a day trip with my girlfriend to Epcot. The first attraction we went on was SSE. On the decent I began to feel a bit iffy. After numerous attempts to settle my stomach I decided that I needed to bail. A few seconds after getting on the tram I blew chunks. After about 30 seconds I gave the CM on the end of the tram the "I am done nod".

Story 2....We were waiting for the Indy stunt show to start and without warning this kid just let loose 1 row in front of us. I have never seen so many people move so fast in my life.

It must be a Six Flags thing. Back when I was a kid, Six Flags Great Adventure had the round up, or some such thing. One of those things you get in, it spins, the floor drops and you stick to the wall. On this one the queue was elevated above it, so you could see the riders on it.

Some kid threw up in it as he was walking out, they cleared the people out and sprayed it with a hose. Then they turned on the ride to "clean" it. It looked like giant spin art :)

I've never actually seen anyone throw up in Disney World, but I did see a spectacular performance at the Charlotte, NC airport. This poor kid was walking along leaving a steady stream while his mother "steered" him from one trash can to the next. What made it worse was oblivious people walked right through some of it on their way to the gates.

So I guess I'm responsible for this thread drift, huh?

Giant spin art. That's hilarious. The majority of "thrill" rides at these parks usually involve spinning, so this probably happens all the time, at least a lot more than at Disney...

I saw someone throw up on that ride at the Six Flags Great America. Just in case you were still hungry, I'll tell you this. It made it about 6 inches out of his mouth before centrifugal force decided it would make a good hair gel and face wash.
