That magical mirror is so amazing! Watching it made me ooh and aah like a child again. That nostalgic feeling is what I love about the Magic Kingdom. Thank you imagineers!!!

Yeah I agree. While watching the video I actually felt like I was in line for a dark ride, its a shame they didnt do it here while they had the chance. Not that everything has to be a ride, but for all the wonderful hoopla leading up to just a meetngreet is a little dissapointing. The details are incredible. Im not sure how big this area is exactly of the cottage and all inside? Would that have been enough space for a small dark ride in terms of show space if they had gone with a ride layout?

You can see the size of the this attractions show building in this early construciton photo. You can easily see the diving line between Belle's cottage and the Be Our Guest Resturant.

Wow, that mirror effect really is something! Curious to see how the story time part is going to play out, and what kinds of effects there may be for it.

From what I can tell, this is the current size of the attraction. Yellow is queue, Red is attraction. It's not a lot of room for any sort of ride, as it looks about the size of the carousel.

I am so excited to see the magic mirror effect. It looks like the mirror comes down and becomes a doorway. And then you get to go and meet Wardrobe and hear some stories from Belle.

I am excited to take my niece and nephew there! My family is going to LOVE THIS!

The mirror had me do a double take. Now that's what imagineering is all about!

As for the age/height markings, Maurice could've transcribed them from an old chart he made before they moved house. They all seem too fresh and the same to have been done over 18 years. I just love how they kept to the French, though.

I wonder how many guests will thing this says "ants", but the "t" is missing?

Or how many "" jokes will people make?

Are guests that crude?

I'm wondering the same thing. I hope you don't have to do the meet and greet. The mirror is undoubtedly amazing.

I bet you can easily walk through the queue if you want to, though obviously if you don't have little kids you might feel out of place.

Amazing detail, easily the best meet & greet Disney every made. Others are just the face character with decorations behind them, this is storytelling and stuff that everybody in the family would like to experience.

The mirror/portal is pretty impressive. I didn't catch it at first, had to watch it again. This M&G is actually a borderline attraction if you ask me. Details look good too.

The queue for this M&G is better than that for a lot of attractions. I bet a lot of folks will want to just hang out around Belle's cottage for the ambience, even more bucolic than the Norway pavilion.

IS this really a M&G though, at the older version of story time with Belle, did the kids get pictures? And I wonder if this has two rooms, too speed up the lines...

Wow, that mirror is cool.

I read that this would be story time with Belle and will not be a traditional meet and greet somewhere. I don’t think there will be any picture taking with Belle or signatures.

I making assumptions and guesses based on what I’ve seen in the videos but it appears to me that guests will first queue up outside the cottage. Then the door will open and a group of guest will enter that can fill up the main room. Once full the door to the cottage will close and they will open the door to the workshop. Once everyone is in the workshop, they will close the door to the workshop and let people into the main room of the cottage again. The people in the workshop will be given some time to take things in and then the mirror will transpose to a doorway where people will be allowed to enter the castle. Once everyone is in the castle the process starts over and a new group enters the workshop to experience the mirror effect again. The group in the castle will experience a “show” not a traditional meet and greet. The show may be more like turtle time with crush, where Belle will tell her story with the help of Lumiere and they might ask the audience questions or let the audience ask questions.

I’ve heard there will be two show rooms so the mirror might lead to a corridor with two doors for each show room. Even with the two show rooms (Which would mean there are two Belle’s?) I cannot picture a time to “meet” Belle with picture taking and autographs. They will have to keep the mirror transposing and guests coming in for the next show on some sort of schedule.

All just guesses and assumptions from not too much information but I just don’t see this as a meet and greet.

I'm actually going to test my patience and not click on the video so that the first time I see it is when it's live an din person (January 2013). We'll see if I can make it...

This appears to be a worthwhile "experience" that takes M&G to the next level.

Just keep in mind the original FLE that was announced called for 2 similar walk-thru M&G's (Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty).

That would have been overkill.

Sleeping Beauty's M&G would have been very simple I think, as it would be basically for kids to write her birthday cards. But Cinderella's M&G would have had some amazing special effects like this (if not better) for her transformation. I wish we could have that in place of the tents

Just got a chance to watch the video and I have to say the mirror effect is pretty amazing. This is the sort of stuff I like to see from Imagineering.
