I loved The former disney channel..Although I didn't get the channel until around 88 or so I had to enjoy the Preview Weeks or Sneak-A-Peek weekend..

I always remember how adult that channel was at night. Like Danger Bay, Avonlea...And also the funniest thing everytime I watched was Nancy an Operator here at the Disney Channel with a Free gift...Ah good times..

Want to endulge in some retro Disney Channel? I know I do...So here's the Disney Channel Spring Preview of 1990..With Charles Fleischer...

Loved Vault Disney. I would regularly set a tape to record the night before because it was on at 3 a.m. where I live. The last movie I remember watching on there was "The Gnome-Mobile."

Seeing how far the Disney Channel has fallen in just a few years makes me fear for the future of the parks a little bit.

Back in those days, before the proliferation of internet video, Inside Out was almost the only way to get a glimpse of WDW in between trips!

I remember back in the mid to late 1980's, when TDC had a decent amount of park oriented programming.

Shows like Backstage Disney, which occasionally featured attraction tours. I remember one show where Lloyd Bridges hosted a tour of the American Adventure.

For the kickoff of the 15th Anniversary, TDC had a live (yeah, LIVE!) broadcast from the Castle Forecourt. It was an entertainment special featuring Miami Sound Machine, Belinda Carlisle, John Sebastian, a guy on a unicycle and others.

Also for the 15th,TDC broadcast an expanded version of"Walt Disney World, A Dream Come True". It featured the original segment about the history of WDW, and also gave glimpses of the future (Studios, Pleasure Island, Norway etc). It was a treat to listen to Richard Nunis (won't accept his nickname:ROFLOL:) talk about his days on the Jungle Cruise at DL, Joe Rhode describing designing the boats for Maelstrom and especially Randy Bright discussing getting a concept for JII.

Now lost in the mists of time.:(
