The crowds have been more evenly dispersed throughout the year lately. Aside from a week here or there, there isn't really an off season anymore. Summer crowds are not really much worse than say, a day in October.why would they choose the busiest part of the year to close one of the biggest attractions for refurb. Hope its open by the Beginning of September for my vacation. Lines for Soarin and space will be insane during this lol

The time they chose avoids the two true heavy crowd periods - spring break and the holidays.
I hope its not another Spaceship Earth where they have a plan in place and yet dont finish it because a budget runs out.
The Tweedles are a story for Jim 'Witness Protection' Hill ...

The Disney Parks Blog very rarely has anything interesting to say in my experience.
what blog does?
It's a 5 or 6 month redo. If they shift it to another time, the Holiday and Easter/Spring Break season would be effected.
The car (and ride) will stay the same. Each rider will have the opportunity to create their own "concept" and see how it performed when they reach the postshow. RFID will be used for all of this. Not sure if FastPass or Single Riders will have all, if any, of the options yet.
Nothing of the old WOL pavilion is the way it used to be. If they were to open this building it would have a different theme and only use the inner theater areas as "attractions."
Not every country. :animwink:
The next DVC to be announced will not be in Epcot. It currently doesn't have a name yet but is going by the title "2010-2012 project." It's just about ready to be announced but I think they are holding off so it doesn't steal thunder from Art of Animation.
That building is mold ridden, heance the reason why the retail spaces in there were closed.
Whoa when did the shops close there? I must have just missed this.
The shops upstairs have been closed for years.
