Honestly. I think Mulan will get delayed to February next year and take Shang-Chi's old release date of Feb 12th. And the MCU slate will get pushed back once more.
Guys, What'd I tell you before? Fear isn't how we get through this. Positivity is. When they tighten restrictions, people will start to listen. I'm still hoping for some delayed movies to be moved up. It's all in a state of flux, remember? IT doesn't last forever.

I admire your positivity but studios will not be moving any movies up if they already moved them to a later date. They do not want to stack big movies on top of competition. We are all going to have to wait patiently.

I know we all have to wait patiently. But I don't want 2021 to be so competitive. That's why I wanna see these movies sooner. Besides, Vaccine trials are starting next month.

Vaccine trials will not do anything to move movies back. Time to move on and accept it.

But there's more recovered cases than active ones now. And a lot of people in my super secret Facebook group are hoping for the film industry to move movies back. They want to see these movies sooner than expected just like me. You can live in fear all you want, but we're more hopeful.

We all hope you are right but I highly doubt it.

So from what I can tell it seems like even if the final phase of clinical trials gets good results and the vaccine is approved by the end of the year. It wont be available till at least January at this earliest. This likely means that movies in the fall will have to be delayed one more time if the studios are basing their movements based on the development of the vaccine. Expect movies in the fall to be delayed to no earlier than spring next year. If the vaccine gets approved by the end of the year.

Again, movies that moved from 2020 will not be back this year no matter how much the OP wants to wish it to happen. This isn't being negative it's being realistic.

Obviously entirely different situations in China, South Korea and Taiwan right now vs USA. But people are certainly ready to get back to the theaters...

Looks like Tenet could very well launch overseas first with a slow rollout in the USA.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Mulan open first in Asian and then a similar slow rollout in the USA.

Yep looks like Tenet is opening first internationally.
