Upcoming DHS closings ...

No, I don't ...and I need more details on Anaheim before I make a call, but one would be ignorant to not think they are going to try and spread the costs around by cloning parts or complete attractions.

I agree the only thing is the layout is completely different in both parks so it will be interesting if both projects are approved.

Seems like with all these changes coming, something has to be announced at D23. (Though to be fair, I doubt closing the Beauty and the Beast show would be an announcement worth sharing though).

I can see American Idol closing without a replacement, but I'm surprised that Beauty & the Beast would close without a replacement. I remember hearing a rumor that Festival of the Lion King would close before the new theater was finished, but we see that construction has started and the show is still going. I'd think that Beauty & the Beast would continue until the replacement is approved.

It sounds like DHS will be a mess for the next 2-3 years or more while it transitions.

Look for the ridiculously long-running Beauty and the Beast stage show to end its run at the Studios following the holiday season. Right now, with no replacement as no show has gotten budget approval and likely won't until the entire Studios Extreme (or Less) Makeover gets decided on.

But something will go there, it's just not determined what, right? And will it be another show (both Tangled and PatF have been rumored) or could it be possible that the theater would be torn down and combined with the expansion space for a ride?

I'm gonna go on record and say we'll see a Tangled show starting in late 2014.

I understand that it would be time for BATB to go, it better only be going except if a show is planned to replace it. DHS cannot stand to lose another entertainment option without a replacement. That would make it the third show to close with no replacement, after DCR and the parade. DHS is a park that is in need of every kind of attraction they can get.

...and Sounds Dangerous and the Premiere Theater sitting empty 90% of the time.

EXACTLY! There is no reason at all as to why the Premiere Theater doesn't have a show in it year round and the same for Sounds Dangerous. Comedy Warehouse could easily go in one of those spaces year round, five actors, a keyboard player, a tech CM or two, and a handful of ops cast members are not that expensive.
