This ride I might do once every 9 months. I felt like doing it today and it is clsed because of technical problems. I wonder if this happens that often since I do not go on this ride that often.

I don't know how often it's down for technical reasons, but it wasn't in the best of shape when I rode it nearly a week ago.

A section of curtain above the radio tower in the second theater has been missing for some time, exposing a bright blacklight that now spills out into the entire room. It's still dark, but everything fluoresces and it messes with your eyes. Also, upon entering that theater last week, there was a visible access hatch and ladder all lit up on the left that I assume leads up behind the screens or to the ceiling. Finally, all three screen curtains were open in that same theater the entire time.

Time for a rehab?

Did someone mention a ladder?

Rehab is in the works... but you might have to say goodbye to perhaps the entire show style and characters. Maybe even theme.

Well, another classic Epcot attarcation bites the dust, eh? I love this one, too. It's a nice place to relax and get out of the heat.

NO, I LOVE Bill Nye!!! He MUST stay! I love Ellen, too, and she is so funny in that attraction, but Bill MAKES the attraction. I don't know why, but he just cracks me up. :D

The Universe of Energy is a classic Epcot attraction, but it needs some work. I love the whole Dinosaur experience (thats classic), but the Ellen movie is way too long. I wouldn't mind if they kept Ellen, just make a shorter opening movie. I'd say make it like a 15 or 20 minute ride, opposed to 45 minutes. Thats just too long.:snore:

I don't know if I agree with you on that. Too many of the attractions feel rushed as it is, especially with fastpass cutting out alot of theming and preshow.

Its kinda nice having an attraction with some length to it. It kind of rounds out the whole experience.

Are you guys kidding me? Ellen and Bill Nye suck and totally ruin the show (not to mention date it). I understand the original version of the ride was boring but tying it in with pop culture garbage or whatever you want to call it was not the answer. I have been hoping for a LONG time now that the ride is redone so that it keeps the dinosaurs but removes ellen and bill nye from the show. The ride is totally silly and dumb right now, I liked it better when it was more serious.
