The lasers from the last show are still in place, but I have no idea if they plan to use them in this show. They would be perfect during the F&F, Trolls, and Transformers sections.

An insider over at IU said, "incoming, but not imminent."

Apparently they are waiting on new laser units.

Looks like a good show, and it's definitely a step in the right direction for Universal. It may not have the mind blowing choreography of World of Color, and it's by no means a masterpiece, but in terms of enjoyment, it's at least on par with Rivers of Light (eventhough ROL has an awesome soundtrack and tech the show itself is lacking).

This makes me excited for the future of night shows. Disney has always killed it (especially in the last few years with World of Color & Happily Ever After), but nobody else really could even come close. Universal is on the right track now!

Personal opinions ofc. I haven't seen Uni's new show, but I think I'd probably prefer Rivers of Light, yet for most people I'm sure they are comparable for different reasons.

Couldn't disagree more. This show looks decent, but it's yet another "greatest hits" clip playlist that has already been done to death. Every projection show is this. World of Color is this. The Cinematic Spectacular was this. Etc.

Rivers of Light may have missed the mark a bit in execution but at least it shows ambition and artistic vision.

I don't know, the concrete Fantasmic benches are tough for me. I imagine RoL are the same? Most of the time I would rather lean than sit on concrete.

I probably should have two (not too). I bought one for Daytona as I knew I would be there all day, this? I don't want to carry it. Call me lazy but neither show hold enough interest for me to sit on concrete for 1 - 1.5 hours.

Universal has done a nice job of keeping the park like setting for the new night time show. The lighting and landscaping are very tastefully done.

Here is the full Universal Cinematic Celebration with fireworks. It's still in rehearsal but it's a really good night time show.
