I think the exterior should be a destroyed building in New York, to reflect on the constant battle between good and evil that Transformers is! And guests can walk under a Decepticon and Autobot fighting, like at Hollywood!

When I was there in August just before the semester started, Transformers was a hole in the ground.

Less than four months later, you have this...and Gringott's...and Simpson's work beginning. That's astonishing.

Not astonishing if you have the money and the will you can build huge buildings pretty quickly. The Empire State building was built in something like 18 months.

Construction standards are much slower now. And safer. Many buildings of that era had multiple fatalities during the construction process.

I don't think anyone knows yet, but I'm hoping for appropriate urban theming, at least on the sides of the building facing those areas. Doing what Hollywood did would be a thematic disaster.

The exterior hasn't changed much since the building is enclosed. There are no sign of theming coming whatsoever, just a flat soundstage. Does anyone has more info on this?

They ought to go a completely different route than the Hollywood version.
The warehouse with a big, midway-esque painted facade is lame.
Why not build a few full-scale robots to stand near the entrance with limited animation and light-up eyes?

Singapore has one, after all, at least a little one.

Not for a while after it opens, I would guess.
