Two Spirited Quickees...Imagination closing

It doesn't matter whether my post makes any difference or not, it doesn't change the fact that what I said is true.
I don't think anyone is disagreeing with you per se, it's the way you worded it. So if it's "true" (that they must return this pavilion to the state it was in during its first iteration), then you must have some power over them to make this happen.

The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights has nothing to do with Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne. The name is even spelled different. The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights originated in Little Rock, Arkansas, which was moved to DHS after neighbors complained about the display.
I take it that you missed post #1460 before posting.

Your right, I missed page 74. I also missed the joke, which isn't that hard to miss, considering it is not very funny. I am sure many guests are ignorant on the origin of the lights, but I so not see a 'joke' there....

My thoughts exactly. Make a 3D film with Figment about "Imagination." Think of the possibilities. Such a simple, yet vague concept. Imagineers would have a field day with ideas. Then, they can use the rest of the pavilion to build a new dark ride for whatever they want. At this point, I'll take anything.

Meh. My local theater has a digital 3d IMAX that is better clarity than anything currently at the theme parks. The novelty of 3d has expired in my opinion.

Perhaps, but most people on these boards are not mere guests.

Welcome to the fan community where minutia is common knowledge.

I'm sure you're the straw that will break the camel's back.

Suddenly, as if struck by a bolt of lightning, bobby Iger will call up lil tommy Staggs and say "I sense a guy on the Internet is unhappy about Epcot. We must do as he wishes!"

Once again, you miss my point. It's not about what I want, even if I had no opinion at all, it still needs to be done. I'm simply stating what needs to happen with the pavilion and YES, it MUST happen for the pavilion to return to its known and previously demonstrated potential. They will either make the change and be successful or not make the change and be a failure on Disney's part for all guests and themselves for that matter.

I think you are correct sir! :)

Look, I realize my views on this and my statements concerning it are extreme but I also feel that the changes to the pavilion and it's current state is also extreme. I'm simply done with all the passive/aggressive floundering and need to state things as I think they really are. Do I believe that Disney gives one hoot about my or anyone else's posts on this site, no of course they don't but I still think that it needs to be said.

Also, last time I went on Imagination in August the Figment animatronics were looking pretty rough and basically not moving their mouths. Between this and Ellen being removed something has to be in the works

*How To Create The Perfect Replacement Attraction for The Current Imagination Pavilion*
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

by Figments Friend

B - Budget - A healthy budget for the project with NO cutbacks.
A - Animatronics - Physical performing figures will ALWAYS out perform screen based images.
X - X-tra Effects - Good effects enhance a show, not compete against it.
T - Total Immersion - Every sense believes it*s setting, and such a setting makes you believe.
E - Excellent Storytelling - Both visually and verbally, enhanced with textured backstory detailing.
R - Re-Rideability - *It*s not the first ride, but the twentieth ride that is the most important* - Tony Baxter

Simple, really.

Even if they outfit the current track layout (I know, it's still half the original ride) and make it into something reminiscent of the original with Dreamfinder, it will be a success to me. Maybe even make the "beginning flight sequence", that was so famous, into a pre-show film then lead the guests into the load area. Just as long as the original intent of whimsy comes back. The current ride is just...wow so rough.
