As I watched the DVD, my scowl became more and more pronounced. Does Disney really find it necessary to get 'hosts' that become more and more hyper and ridiculous every year?
amejr999 said:This one came to the level of insulting my intelligence. It seemed to be aimed squarely at the teenage sector, with a little more added in at what seemed to be the last minute when someone realized, "hey, there's nothing in here for families or anyone else!"
amejr999 said:Good news- almost all of the footage was new. they got rid of the overused "magical gatherings"
Bad news- almost everything else. ridiculously hyper and exagerated hosts. music from parades/shows replaced with annoying pop music. overused bench joke. replaced overused "magical gatherings" with overused "Happiest Celebration on Earth".

Great. . .SirNim said:Unfortunately, I don't think so. No CBJ. It's the same focus of attractions (headliners and super headliners), just with new content, new shots, and of course, the sweet to some, bitter to others overlay of the hosts.

The host added to the "fun & excitment" of WDW.
Its about time they aimed it to the young adults instead of just kiddie stuff. I am 26 and I think it was aimed just right. Rember. When at WDW, we're all big kids.
Um....HELLO!!!! "Happiest Celebration on Earth" is the big thing this year. They are going to play on it as much as possible.
The bench thing was great. Hardly anyone thinks about just stoping and resting for a few while at the park.
More for the rest of us.
Can't complain when it's free. Indeed.General Grizz said:Great. . .
I'm glad it was free.

Even though they are usually better than the DVD's sold within the parks! :lol:nibblesandbits said:Just remember that this video is a promotional device. It is an advertisment trying to get you to visit the theme park. So it's not going to be the best video that you've ever seen based on that fact alone.
