FYI, I have been told that the Tronorail will enter service tomorrow....

So, we'll get to see it fully dressed soon...

I'll be down there Saturday. We were only planning to go to AK, but if the Tronorail is really in service by then I just might drive to the TTC to see it.

Could this be the one situation where a monorail pilot would be considered a "reliable source"?!

Though I don't like the idea of a completely covered monorail, I'll reserve judgement until I see it.

However, it's nine months until the movie comes out. I mean, nine months? That's quite a while. I wonder why they're doing this so early.

That's my question as well. It better not stay for 5 years... i'll have my fire and pitch fork out in one! :fork::fork:

doubt it will stay that long, this smells like someone over at the movie division is paying for an ad and some monorail refurbishment.

That's what I was just wondering too! A bit of overkill by the time the movie actually does come out maybe???

not a fan of the full cover that they are doing... but i will reserve judgement until my july trip :)... personaly my feeling is that they are trying to get the average visitors attention and build excitment for a cult classic... plus for disney the average WDW visitor is probly only there on average every 2+ years so seeing a specialy done up monorail is exciteing to the average person, not to us fans who have an apretiation for the beauty and simplicity of the "normal" white trains
