News Tron coaster coming to the Magic Kingdom

The Magic Kingdom needs more rides with capabilities of 2000 plus an hour. They draw about twice what either Universal Park draws and average over 55,000 a day in attendance. Even with a theoretical capacity of 3,000 an hour a ride at MK could allow every visitor to ride it. That said the park that needs the most additions is still Hollywood Studios. They need 2 new lands, a second Star Wars Planet and a 2nd Pixar land. Hollywood Studios should be large enough to be the second park in the US to draw 20 million a year. The demand is there, all anyone has to do is look at Hollywood Studios any morning at 6:30AM.
Yes DHS needs more additions but they really need to replace and update the shows too.

The Enterprise Branding...
Let's hope they find a way to better integrate it ala Chevy in Shanghai.

I had a slight chuckle at this.

When I think of a fast and thrilling rollercoaster, I think of Enterprise. The same place where I can rent a Versa, Jetta, or if I'm feeling extra spicy...a 4 cylinder Mustang!

Nothing against those cars. I'm just shocked there's a sponsor.

Does anyone know what the throughput on Hagrid's new coaster is? Just for comparison?
Both drops are working. 10 trains out of 12 (13) is the norm now I believe.
Hagrids is generally hitting about 1600 per hour now during normal operations, but it is still problematic. For comparison, opening day, the number I heard was they got through 4600 people on opening day.

I recall a ridiculously high figure on opening day. I’ll ave to make some enquiries.

Just to be clear, the 4600 number was the total number of guests for opening day. It had well documented down time so I highly doubt it was a "ridiculous high figure"

Like with Test Track, in the queue, you'll be able to choose the type of racer: minivan, compact, large sedan, etc...

And when you get to the front of the line, you'll be told they're all out of the type you chose.
That's different from my inside knowledge.

I was told your choices would be SUV, bigger SUV, even bigger SUV, and "hatchback they can't call a hatchback so it's a long SUV".
Colors are black, white, silver, and beige.

Truly an immersive, modern day, American car buying experience!

They’ll be updated to 2020 Corollas. Guests will be encouraged to purchase a $39 insurance plan to protect against being stuck with the bill following any collisions.

Following the “immersive” style of Rise of the Resistance, the Tomorrowland Speedway will be transformed into the “Rental Car of the Future Experience Presented by Enterprise.” To accommodate this attraction, the current queue structure will be turned into a personalized pre-show, where parties will work one on one with an hourly cast member pretending to be a “Rental Representative” to determine the ride experience right for their family. Throughout this 10 minute pre-show experience, guests will have the option to experience upcharges to prevent them from liabilities and enhance their ride. After this experience, guests will be given a small card detailing the location of their car and an RFID-enabled “key” to start the vehicle. Guests will then be sent out into a large parking lot that overtook most of the former track to find the only car that works with their key (finding you car is half the fun, as 80% of the cars are props). Once you found your car, wind through the parking lot without hitting your fellow guests until you reach the poorly marked exit, where another 5 minute interaction with a cast member will occur as you wait to take to the road. Once you finally exit, follow a gentle curve out to a left turn through oncoming traffic (prop cars) occurs. A viable window to turn only appears every minute, often causing backups. Once you make it through the harrowing turn, be greeted by aggravated cast members asking you not to back up over the spikes and pull into their lane. After one more 3 minute interaction, guests’ experience have concluded, as they weave their way back towards the entrance, where they are greeted by a survey representative for a “brief” 15 minute survey.
This is officially Walt Disney World’s longest attraction clocking in at over 1 hr. Here is a leaked Layout courtesy of our friend @marni1971 :
