They are showing new TRON commercials on the D23 live stream. Still “now programming” probably we get a date on Sunday.

I really can't imagine a timeline where they don't announce Tron's opening date on Sunday. I just hope they come out and announce it to start off the show. Then, they can update everyone on the international parks and end the show on newer things for Disneyland and WDW.

I think they are talking about an extra incentive for people to buy tickets to the Christmas party nights at MK.
I think December openings might make some people book a 2023 vacation as a Christmas gift. And because of VQs and ILLs, it doesn’t really matter when rides open anymore. Capacity is pre-set and will be fully booked at the start, regardless. There’s no worry about Christmas crowds swamping the ride. The extra crowds will swamp Space Mtn.

Except Disney keeps opening availability even after park passes sell out. We see it all the time. The calendar goes yellow showing some/all parks sold out then miraculously a week later all dates are green again.

They are just moving them from one bucket to another. I mean Disney wouldn't try to create an artificial scarcity or false exclusivity would they??

I was referring to capacity on TRON. Number of guests in the park won’t impact that.

A CM, not a bus driver, told me Tron will be turned over to operations (not sure if I have the term exact) in October with CM previews starting November 1.

It's been reported Tron is being tested 24/7.
Being turned over to ops would be the correct phrase. I wouldn’t be surprised but they still need to do some serious landscaping and groundwork before it can open

I don’t know that CMs would actually know that but 11/1 for previews is a little earlier than I had heard but I suppose possible in very limited numbers.

Dates are subject to change, even if the CM I spoke to had correct info.

The CM gave me the spiel don't tell anyone I told you this....It wasn't until later I realized the specific dates suggest more credibility then I first thought.

The CM rode GotG:CR very early. I think the CM was some how involved, or was close to someone who was
