Honestly though, what the hell? The whole point of the Florida project was infinite space and infinite control. It's not like it adds a tremendous cost to manage these things, it's just lazy design, and in an era where everything is digital, and you can hop into a project with a VR headset, it should be worlds easier to manage these things.

I just cannot wrap my head around the current state of the company. Everything is done at such a tremendously different quality. No consistency between projects. Some things are handled with meticulous detail, while others are seemingly entirely neglected.

Let's compare two different instances of drastically different quality that feature the exact same IP and an identical opening date.

The Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge looks like utter garbage. Barren, sterile, and bland room that resembles an attempted homage to Star Wars without actually being it.

Bland walls with some college dorm lighting. Nothing special, nothing classy, nothing luxurious, only colloquially Star Wars.

Compare this to the Star Wars area in the Kid's club just a couple of hundred feet away:

This is insane! Absolute out-of-the-park home run! Looks like Star Wars, sounds like Star Wars, and tastes like Star Wars. Incredible detail from the floor to the ceiling. Very well done.

This company has the most obtuse quality control measures. They make a masterpiece and make everyone think they have rekindled the magic only to follow it up with the next instance of flaming hot garbage. Their standards are all over the place. I genuinely don't know what's the missing piece. Lack of direction?
I agree with your overall point, but I like the look of the hyperspace lounge more than the kids club.

I wonder how this will work if it opens during MVMCP

If it opens around Nov-Dec, it'll probably come out with virtual line only as that has been what happened with guardians. So, will people in a Christmas party need to do virtual queue or will it be standby for that time. I'm curious to see what they'll do

Or it only opens in 2023 and this isnt an issue

I also have this doubt. Hope the MVMCP audience have some advantage

they could just do like they do for Guardians when it is an Deluxe Evenings Hours day and have a 3rd VQ drop at 6pm that party goers are eligible for

It is an interesting question ... and if it opens after the first party will people get upset that their party didn't have access to TRON?

I could also just see it not running during the party, especially if it doesn't open until December

I can imagine some outrage as they could've announced it along the release of the party tickets

But I can see disney waiting til the parties are done, since they know they're getting money without trouble anyway, and they can open it on a "would not have been fully packed otherwise" crowd date for more bucks

From today. They’re laying parts of the pathway in small individual sections, so it’s seeming like they’re going for different shades of color for parts of the pathway.

Taken just a few minutes ago. It’s good to see visible changes happening each day. More of the metal railing has been installed, also note the workers standing/digging around in one of the planters. I wasn’t able to get a good photo inside the railroad tunnel, but there were a few workers in there doing something with the staged track inside. Also in the last photo you can see even more railroad track staged right outside the tunnel, right next to the wall separating the tunnel from the guest pathways.

As has been clearly demonstrated, the current management is all about revenue, which makes me think to Len’s post about how much revenue will be generated from ILL’s on Tron. Will delaying the ride by 4 months for PR purposes offset the lost revenue, I’d be surprised if it did. However, I temper this by saying the Christmas Parties confuse the picture for ILL’s.

5th December is Walt’s birthday - just sayin!
