News Tron coaster coming to the Magic Kingdom

Okay, I did a blog post yesterday around when I thought TRON might open. It could be entirely wrong, and I know other smart people here have heard different, earlier dates.

One thing I didn't write about was the additional revenue Disney will get from ILL sales of TRON. So here's a ballpark estimate of that (which, again, can be wrong).

One thing this doesn't take into consideration, which is hard to estimate, is how many people will just trade one ILL for Tron. For example of getting one for Mine Train, they will now get it for Tron instead.

That wouldn't matter as long as both sell out, though. And if Mine Train stopped selling out they could always add it to Genie+ to increase sales there.

Is the railroad tunnel concrete all the way through? The artwork appears to show windows on the ceiling of the interior of the tunnel. Not that passengers could see it as there is a solid roof above the passenger compartments.

I’m not sure how you’re reading windows or glass ceiling into that art? It’s just showing the joints in the metal roofing panels. What’s inaccurate is that the joints seem to extend all the way to the ground when they’re actually affixed to a concrete wall in the final product.

Thank you for answering. That's what it looks like to me so that's why I asked.

Yes...the box needs to be dealt with, but it's not terrible. Just add an ENCOM logo and make it look somewhat like a PC tower.

Or an Encom office building!

Also, do we know that 7DMT will remain on ILL once Tron opens? If not immediately, I presume it would move to G+ soon after, so the marginal ILL revenue wouldn’t be all that substantial
