I wonder how this will work if it opens during MVMCP

If it opens around Nov-Dec, it'll probably come out with virtual line only as that has been what happened with guardians. So, will people in a Christmas party need to do virtual queue or will it be standby for that time. I'm curious to see what they'll do

Or it only opens in 2023 and this isnt an issue
I also have this doubt. Hope the MVMCP audience have some advantage

they could just do like they do for Guardians when it is an Deluxe Evenings Hours day and have a 3rd VQ drop at 6pm that party goers are eligible for

It is an interesting question ... and if it opens after the first party will people get upset that their party didn't have access to TRON?

I could also just see it not running during the party, especially if it doesn't open until December

I can imagine some outrage as they could've announced it along the release of the party tickets

But I can see disney waiting til the parties are done, since they know they're getting money without trouble anyway, and they can open it on a "would not have been fully packed otherwise" crowd date for more bucks

From today. They’re laying parts of the pathway in small individual sections, so it’s seeming like they’re going for different shades of color for parts of the pathway.

Taken just a few minutes ago. It’s good to see visible changes happening each day. More of the metal railing has been installed, also note the workers standing/digging around in one of the planters. I wasn’t able to get a good photo inside the railroad tunnel, but there were a few workers in there doing something with the staged track inside. Also in the last photo you can see even more railroad track staged right outside the tunnel, right next to the wall separating the tunnel from the guest pathways.

As has been clearly demonstrated, the current management is all about revenue, which makes me think to Len’s post about how much revenue will be generated from ILL’s on Tron. Will delaying the ride by 4 months for PR purposes offset the lost revenue, I’d be surprised if it did. However, I temper this by saying the Christmas Parties confuse the picture for ILL’s.

5th December is Walt’s birthday - just sayin!

Okay, I did a blog post yesterday around when I thought TRON might open. It could be entirely wrong, and I know other smart people here have heard different, earlier dates.

One thing I didn't write about was the additional revenue Disney will get from ILL sales of TRON. So here's a ballpark estimate of that (which, again, can be wrong).

One thing this doesn't take into consideration, which is hard to estimate, is how many people will just trade one ILL for Tron. For example of getting one for Mine Train, they will now get it for Tron instead.

That wouldn't matter as long as both sell out, though. And if Mine Train stopped selling out they could always add it to Genie+ to increase sales there.
