I’ve been told the canopy will not be going into show mode or even animating at all tonight. This also includes the main attraction sign.
They had to take the bulbs to ship out to the Concession sign of MRRR at DL.

I dunno…I see a lot of similarities with Space Mtn.
As a fat man, walking in shame from a test seat in view of hundreds is not really any less embarrassing than walking in shame from the ride where only the people next to you can see you. There is a test seat.
It's not naked track.
The outdoor section is under a beautifully shaped canopy that has lighted moving effects at night.
That’s a good point. At FoP, until Covid, they gave people too fat to ride several paper anytime Multiple Experience FastPasses. Not sure those exist anymore. This is going to be a major problem, especially for those guests who purchased ILL. Remember when Pandora opened? It’s going to have nothing on this.
Now they have a bike coaster it might be a bad idea to configure the seats to accommodate all larger guests. I forget if they strung nets over the walkways but even if they did a falling person might be too much for them and very bad show. Got to engineer for most not for allThat’s a good point. A test seat doesn’t help if you have to buy before you even get back there. I think the make good will have to be a refund-and-something.
7DMT isn’t very accommodating to thick-thighed individuals either. I wonder if Disney might consider just hiring a fat guy to test their test vehicles during development. That’s 3 major rides in a decade that aren’t particularly good for various body shapes (and with no good reason on FoP)
The only thing that surprises me here is that they didn’t install the lap bar seats on every train. Now they have a bike coaster it might be a bad idea to configure the seats to accommodate all larger guests. I agree but the second solution is to have skinny seats and jumbo seats and never shall the two cross. It would not take much to laser measure guests and sort them accordingly. I’d prefer to be sent to the fat seats than to be sent to the Mickey bar cart. Now they have a bike coaster it might be a bad idea to configure the seats to accommodate all larger guests. PS I know they’ll never do this but they should.I agree but the second solution is to have skinny seats and jumbo seats and never shall the two cross. It's not that simple to just create a restraint so all guest sizes can enjoy an attraction. It's not as simple as Disney or Universal just creating a new restraint but the manufacturer of the coaster has to agree to it.It’s real neat to see WDW giving up on one of the few areas in which they were clearly superior to Universal. Oh well, it’s not like Disney has a history of beloved coasters that can accommodate a wide variety of body types.
I’m also amused by the comments that assume innovation in the field of ride restraints is impossible, that Disney and Uni couldn’t develop more adaptable restraints if they felt it was profitable. Actually, we know Uni is trying to develop such restraints - whether they ever actually utilize them is another matter.
Do they have any type of netting or such when the track is close to the walkway?
