Looks like the final panel for the Tomorrowland-facing side of the first canopy "hump" is going up today. This alone massively improves views from the Speedway and PeopleMover. Here's hoping they make short work of the portion facing Storybook Circus next.

MGM was 3/4 construction walls for a few years and they sure didn't cut the price.

Pretty sure Blog Mickey mentioned it prior to them and they just picked it up from there. Personally, I mostly only care if this also means they finally replace the horrid salon and spaceship vignettes.

I don’t find them offensive at all, but they do have at least one Stitch animatronic that could look great in there.

I can live with the spaceship one. I'd just prefer it be a continuation of the Progress City theme. But I find the salon scene really, really offensively bad for whatever reason. Also, if they're never planning to reinstate proper views of Space Mountain, they should really just projection map the longer tunnel.

They have put up the second half of the form for the wall, looks like a pretty substantial wall.

of 2023! But seriously, canopy wise, it will be nice to have most of that finally complete for the rough area it has been. I can't help but see Flight of the Navigator when I look at the canopy as it is now.

I hope so. When it opens there's going to be a surge in the crowds and I prefer to happen after I have my trip in October.

The full white Tron aesthetic looks great for MK.

It's interesting because the original concept art for MK had the same blue trim and gravity building as Shanghai, but they've clearly changed to white trim and gravity building in MK which matches Space a lot nicer.

Also of note, the substantial wall pointed out by @danlb_2000 above, appears to be featured in the bottom right of the original concept art.
