I think they have said it is a direct lift... So it will be exactly the same. I don't think any of the attractions moving forward will ever be longer experiences...That is the trend to keep it as short as possible... Such a shame. The Era of the 20 minute dark ride a la EPCOT is behind us now...

Am I in the minority with Tron the sequel did not do that well . I did jot really like it . Thsi seems kind if like avatar where it seems odd injecting it into a theme park. Except Avatar was extremely popular . I love flight of passage and maybe that river ride will grow on me . The Satuli Canteen is my favorite QS even over Flame Tree. So Tron may surprise me but I just dont get it . I hope they dont build a escape to with mountain ride next lol.

I'm going to sound like a scratched record but I think Tron is another IP that can be rebooted and done on the cheap for Disney+

Pretty movie visually (except for the bad Clu rendering), story was a snoozefest.

A friend of mine was at the Magic Kingdom the other day and took a photo of the construction. Nothing vertical yet that I can see.

As much as people don’t like tron or avatar movies, I think we can all agree the world building in those films is insane. Both definitely lend themselves for great theme park attractions imo.
Agreed. I've made this argument countless times. Conversely, I don't think Toy Story lends itself well to a theme park land. I look at Toy Story Land as good execution on a lousy concept.

Not to be argumentative, and I haven't seen it yet- but I think just the opposite. The execution seems lacking and rather simplistic for what it could have been.
For Toy Story? My issue is that oversized props and painted flats is largely "on theme" but that's not really a good theme. I do hope that they let Slinky Dog Dash get a little over grown as the landscaping in the land helps substantially (tall grasses/bamboo).

Just got back from Shanghai, and while Tron is shorter than I'd like, it's a lot of fun. Was more fun than any video can portray. The inside part gave me a RNRC vibe, but was better with moving graphics and the screen with the yellow cycle coming at you. I had a great time of the ride Everytime we rode it.

TRON is one of those franchises that work in a, you don't have to see the movie to understand it, way. Everyone can understand the concept of being sucked into a video game world.

The visuals are stunning, the music is great and it just fits a thrill ride experience better than most franchises released recently.

Between the constant MK crowds and FP+, I wouldn’t count on many rides during an average day at WDW. ;)
