Hi all, I said in my TR that I would update you all on Gary if things changed and I would rather be typing anything but this.
He passed today. It was an incredibly rough road and I know it's best for him, but we miss him terribly already.
If ok, I thought I would share a few photos of us with him over the past few years at Disney.
But before I do that I wanted to thank @riverside and her sister E who were literally angels today.
I forgot to send my man with his most coveted, and would never leave home without it, Steelers ballcap.
@riverside texted asking how I was doing and I was sobbing as I forgot it and she said, Oh no, he'll have a hat today and bought him one and gave it to E who was in charge of taking care of my guy after he left this house today.
Angels, pure and simple.
Best of dad's.
Loved clowning around.
He would dance to the music!
Our 30th wedding anniversary year. Always up for an adventure.
There was no character he enjoyed more than Lilo. Every year, "did you get our Lilo and Stitch breakfast?"
The year we became DVC members. (He grumbled mightily about this one!)
Always willing to go along with silliness!
And I might add, always complained while I was planning the next Disney trip. Why do we have to go again? Till he would be on Main Street then he would start walking backwards towards the castle and yell, c'mon everybody, let's go!
Got excited for new things.
And loved us all.
